These monitors are great, I've had mine for two years now. I was at a friend's house and was using his 46" LCD TV and Gateway FPD2485W 24" monitor ($600 when he bought it) for Cod4 on xbox360. Right away you notice the lag and motion blur on the LCDs and it took awhile for my eyes to adjust...

Yeah I noticed it too.... everything looks much better. Just be sure to re-adjust (increase) your brightness otherwise you won't notice much difference

I've been running mine @1920x1200 @96 Hz for almost 2 years with no problems or image loss.... Interestingly enough, I just tried 94Hz in the Nvidia control panel, and after changing, the monitor still displayed 96Hz when pressing the menu button

yup, can't compare LCD "refresh rate" to a crt's refresh rate. The LCD updates each pixel individually. while a crt updates the whole screen at once. LCD response time is what should be compared to CRT refresh rate.

I've heard of this before, but never knew that a regular old antenna worked for HD. I don't have an HD tv, but I'd like to get HD channels on my 24"computer monitor and do away with my cable company, which card do you reccommend? And do all channels listed as digital at antennaweb broadcast in HD?

I received it on thursday. The box was beat up, but everything inside looks and works brand new. The FF works great and really gave new life to PGR3. I'm already beating all my old lap times with it. I can't wait to play Forza 2.

I'd never cheat or use any bugs to my advantage in multiplayer. Rarely do I cheat in single player, but I just did in GRAW because when you beat the game on hard, you don't unlock the normal achievements as well. bullshit if you ask me...

Looks pretty good. I can't wait to play it. I just bought a wheel on ebay for this game! GT:HD has nice textures. Thats it. Forza's lighting is better. I still think Forza's "wheel motion" looks wrong. Will your customized paint scheme show up in Live play unlike the first one?

I agree... its all about in game. The GT series always had amazing replays but the in-game wasn't as good (same with PGR3). On top of that, this generation is all about lighting effects. It is really hard to get a feel for real time lighting from a screenshot. Wait until you see both games in...

The only way the PC and console will merge is if PCs become more like consoles. In that the games need to be plug and play. The general public can't figure out how to disable spyware that is choking out their PC, let alone install a PC game and get it to run properly. Besides that, I don't think...
