Agreed. that would become boring very quickly.Dunno about that, division 2 has a 100 story building you can try to clear.

all 100 floors are explorable with their own unique layout and enemies?
Well, its kind of "random" generated from a bunch of variables to keep you entertained https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/game/...e-coming-to-the-division-2-in-title-update-11all 100 floors are explorable with their own unique layout and enemies?
That's 100% exactly what the Summit mode in The Division 2 is, I don't know if it comes with the base game or one of the DLC packs. It would be interesting if a future DLC was set in a large sky scraper like this, and you had to fight through many floors. 50-100 floors

They are not MMOs, it's more like Path of Exile or Diablo where multiplayer is 'instanced' and optional. They are pretty much online arpgs but instead of fireballs you have bullets and 'tech' based skills. 95% of the content in The Division games can be played solo. Only need a squad for activities similar to end game raiding.Never played those games, I'm sure it is great for what it is. My understanding is Cyberpunk is a lot more different as it is a story based SP game and The Division is an MMO. MMOs aren't my cup of tea so I never bothered with TD or TD2.
CP2077 has more emphasis on story and is a lot less linear then the division games but they can both be played mostly solo, but like Drexion said there is a multiplayer part to the game (mostly coop like borderlands games) and a bit of PVP in one or a few zones but there is no story advancement there and can be ignored alltogether if you want.Never played those games, I'm sure it is great for what it is. The Division games are not MMO's. They are looter shooters. They have more in common with Destiny 1 and 2 than they do something like World of Warcraft or ESO.Never played those games, I'm sure it is great for what it is. Could be worth if your tv setup is more comfortable with one and if you prefer driving with analogue control, maybe it was patched but at first driving on the keyboard felt worst than with the controller. Not sure how auto aim works, but I cannot stand shooters on controllers. Especially FPS games. I can't see how this would be worth playing on a controller unless you're good with one and really don't like keyboard and mouse.
I did tend to use one but go to the mouse keyboard for the important fight, but I am someone that never played shooters with controllers, it is possible to create characters that use less precision shooting, "magic" and blunt weapon, to dimisnish the issue. How well does this game play using a controller?
It does extremely well. I played it on a PC with an xbox series S wired controller the entire way through. I found it substantially more easy to control the driving aspect. How well does this game play using a controller?

Thanks all. How fast paced is the combat in general, like does it require twitch skills? I am too slow for the likes of COD, BF, twin stick shooters, etc. STALKER and Dues Ex is about as fast as I can take in terms of combat. In STALKER I usually would creep around and ambush.
Expansion not coming until next year.

That’s pretty much how I played it. Also by the end of my play through most of my weapons were smart weapons with target seeking bullets so a controller didn’t matter on the few instances I did have to shoot people.Like LukeTbk mentioned, you can make a hacker character that basically never engages in physical combat, just hack cameras and people, and there are many ways to make baddies kill themselves...

so another year of bug fixes...
I've been reading this thread since launch day.... and honestly, I'm tired of your troll.
Chill out yo, go play Elden or something
your self control is amazing! there's no way i could make myself wait that long to play Elden Ring, lol.horror show is an appropriate name for you...I'm almost done with Far Cry 6 and I only play 1 game at a time...I almost started Cyberpunk but decided on FC6...I know once I start Elden Ring I won't stop so I'm trying to knock out some of the others in my backlog first

Thanks, I've earned ithorror show is an appropriate name for you...
Yep, game is gorgeous. I'm taking a break from Elden Ring and finally giving Cyberpunk my first serious playthrough. OC'd 3090 + LG 48" 4K (G-Sync) and all settings and RT cranked. It's fantastic, smooth, pretty much flawless.View attachment 461723View attachment 461724

Some pictures from the newer build. In the second picture you can see a projectile being fired. NPCs were just using regular weapons as far as I could tell.
If you're using the stick to aim you can try turning down the inside deadzone and turning up the zoom sensitivity reduction setting. Otherwise aim assist in this game is known to not be good.Is the auto aim assist/snap to target in this game broken? I don't see it doing anything and it's detracting from the combat bc I'm playing w a steam controller. I no longer use mouse and keyboard for gaming so either wireless Xbox controller or steam controller are the only viable options for me.
PS how in the heck do you kill those drones chasing your limo at the end of the heist mission? Seems to be a timed mission bc I always fail it at the same point. Without any kind of working auto aim, I am finding it impossible to kill those drones w my dinky pistol, even when using a keyboard and mouse. I'm gonna need a cheat or something.
Apparently it doesn't exist at all on the PC, which makes me wonder why they included those settings in the menu.If you're using the stick to aim you can try turning down the inside deadzone and turning up the zoom sensitivity reduction setting. So i've played about 2 hours, maybe 3, and i just can't get into this game. Does it pick up at all? I'm running around in a dead world, doing quests that i don't really care about.
I did find you can just jump on a car, and it will drive you around the city endlessly... super immersive.
