It’s not. It’s a fan made trailer, but I read in the comments that it’s better than any trailer Microsoft or Sony ever made and they should hire the guy who made it. I’ll agree with that! Are you sure this is an authentic Microsoft trailer?
... I didn't hear any mention of TV! or SPORTS!
Who cares about the Xbox when you can use game pass on pc is the point. Most of us here have pretty damn good gaming pc and have no use for the console itself. Only reason I am getting a PS5 is cause they make great exclusives I like. Sure it is impressive hardware for the price but still doesn't take away from a good pc.It’s not. M76 - who cares about exclusives when nearly the whole game library is $4 a month for 3 years and available on both PC and Xbox. I’d prefer there weren’t exclusives and games continue to work on both PC and Console alike.
Really what’s not to like about a 2080 GPU level gaming machine with a Ryzen 3700 for $500? It’ll move the game engine / development ball forward for PC gamers and console fans alike!

It's still a console, with all its limitations. No ultrawide, no keyboard+mouse support, both are very important to me. And I have a PC capable of gaming much better than it already, so no good exclusives = I have zero reason to even look at it.Really what’s not to like about a 2080 GPU level gaming machine with a Ryzen 3700 for $500? Same.Nope.
I suspect most here, even here, has lesser specs on their gaming PCs than 2020 consoles. Most of us here have pretty damn good gaming pc and have no use for the console itself.
Maybe atm. A lot are chomping at the bits to get a 3080 atm. I got a 3950x with a 1080ti atm. I am going to see what AMD has to show them decide. I would of purchased a 3090 by now if I could.I suspect most here, even here, has lesser specs on their gaming PCs than 2020 consoles.

My PC is better and I love Keyboard and mouse controls and enjoy my ultrawide monitor, so I won’t be abandoning PC gaming anytime soon, but I’ll buy one of these 2020 Xboxes for the convenience to easily play games on the HT setup with the family.
You miss the point entirely. And your post makes no sense. This does little to make me interested in Microsoft's console or their "pay forever" service. I'm perfectly content to continue to use Steam and buy games two years later for $2.99. I've long been over buying games at launch or riding any hype train - both are wastes of money.
"Were". While $2.99 might be an overstatement, basically every triple A title I've purchased I've done for <$10 by doing what I mentioned in my post. Which is waiting 2 years +/-. This includes DX:HR/MD and the Mass Effect series. This also has the side benefit of having 2 years worth of stability and content patches. I rarely have to deal with incomplete titles or game breaking bugs (although EA/Bioware are known to still have a few that will likely never get fixed). You miss the point entirely. And your post makes no sense.
Games at $2.99 have NO player base remaining if you like Mplayer. And for $1 more a month for the next three years you can have unlimited games instead of one really old title once per month.
With Microsoft’s game pass subscription you can try games on launch day. Flight Sim 2020, Metro Exodus, Gears of War 5 etc. You can play them, try them out, enjoy them while they are popular. Uninstall if you don’t like. No commitment. At $4 a month that’s $50 a year. That’s less than the price of one game and you’ll have access to a couple hundred titles by years end with game pass. Now at $20 a month, I’ll probably go back to buying my games individually. But for the next three years the world can be your oyster for less than the price of one hamburger per month.
PS. In another of your recent posts you recommended a half dozen games to someone that were your favorites. None of those were $2.99 games.
Looks like your best option to grab a pre-order has been Microsoft.com directly. Though there has been a dry spell since October 13.OP, I’m with you my dude. How do I score one of these Xbox’s? Are they going to be sold out for months?
What policies are you referring to?Honestly I can't hate one Xbox. They coming with the big guns and have the better value. They probably going to win this gen with brute force. While Sony system is solid they are making miss steps with their policies this gen. Kinda dumb how when you on top you think you can get away with the bs. Sony should of learned from the PS3 and Xbone and kept going with what they established with the PS4. Granted I am still not buying one since I have a gaming PC.
Censorship, political pandering. Also bending the knee to china. What policies are you referring to?
So...nothing that 95% of gamers actually care about when buying their console of choice?Censorship, political pandering. Also bending the knee to china.
I know. Sony been anti cross play til recently also. None of it is a deal breaker for other then the game censorship. They don't censor much but still annoying.So...nothing that 95% of gamers actually care about when buying their console of choice?
The reason the Xbox One failed from day 1 after the success of the Xbox 360 was because of they tried to introduce shitty anti-consumer policies that actually directly affected gamers (always connected to the internet, no disc sharing, Kinnect requirement demanding a $500 console price tag, etc).
Only exception that I could find with a quick search was:So you can play pretty much all the new xbox games interchangeabley on PC or Series X?
That's pretty crazy. Seems like the majority of the go-forward titles are essentially developed in a way that is cross-platform enough it takes very little effort to get them running on the Xbox or PC platforms.Only exception that I could find with a quick search was:
