Lest we forget, Perlman is knocking on 70 years of age. I don't know how spry his Hellboy would be now.

So what's the issue with Ron Pearlman? Did he hurt someones feelings?
I can usually disassociate; I must because it's a given that the political leanings of most in Hollywood are opposite of my own. However, some actors are so in-your-face vile about what they say that I cannot disregard it. Michael Shannon is one such. I used to enjoy his work until he began actively wishing death on those who voted for Trump. Talk like that leaves me unable to suspend my disbelief when I see these people on screen. In Shannon's case, all I can think of when I see him is how I'd like to pound his face in.
I looked up some of the things Perlman said after reading this thread; he's angry and strong in his opinions and obviously hates Trump with a passion, but I didn't find anything which puts me into boycott mode, unless I missed something.
reading is fundamental. But go ahead and think he hurt my feelings if it makes you feel better.
Ok I’m sorry, but I did take that to be directed at me. To explain, He’s basically insulted trump voters as subhuman, and anyone who advocates for the 2nd amendment as evil. I can tolerate a lot of ignorance and intolerance from the limousines liberal in Hollywood. When they resort to the radical left tactics of shaming their opponents with baseless accusations and abhorrent labels, I feel that crosses the line. They’ve gone from holding an opinion, to someone who then becomes, for lack of a better explanation, my enemy. My choice of recourse is to not support their projects. Replied on phone so forgive spelling/grammarSo is comprehension. Thanks for answering my question. Also "Someones" usually doesn't point to a specific person, mainly you.
So.Tired.Of.Reboots.
Seriously. Every reboot ever is a slap in the face of anyone with an attention span of more than 5 minutes. Continue the story, build on the previous movies, build a world and new characters that we love or hate.... but for f*ck's sake STOP REPEATING YOURSELF WITH REBOOTS!
Sounds like both of you need thicker skin, like most of the west these days.
Most all of my family supports Trump and my brother hates him but they have their opinions and i have mine. (I don't really care either way about Trump or Hillary actually) As for RP, i liked him as Hellboy and wouldn't mind seeing him at it again. (Or Selma Blair as i thought she was hot in the first HB, but then again i like that type of women lol)
It's not about thicker skin it's about the fact that we're in a capitalist society where entertainment companies are competing for time across mediums. I don't need to watch a movie, I can play game. I don't need to play a game, I can read a book. So shit actors can squeal all they want on social media, which in the end, is just them kissing ass to get a role (a la Shannon) but they forget there are often times consequences for their actions (a la BFV).
And I don't know what you're getting at with "like most of the west these days". If you think there was a magical time when people all loved eachother no matter what, you're ignorant of history. I'm not out marching with a pussy hat or throwing molotov cocktails. I'm just saying "hey I have too many choices to watch some idiot I dislike for 2 hours". If that offends you, maybe you're the one that needs thicker skin.

Meh ... sometimes the new actor is better. Michael Fasbender, in X-Men first class at the very least, is a better magneto than Ian McKellen ... prove me wrong. /sips coffeeWhen they replace Jackman (since he’s done) as Wolverine people are really gonna lose their shit.

I liked Perlman better so far. Habour is a good actor, but his voice doesn't seem to fit.
The story is Del Toro wanted a buttload of money to fund an epic Hellboy 3 and finish up the trilogy, but because the previous movies underperformed the studios balked at funding it.they couldn't fund a real Hellboy 3, but they made a reboot?
Ron Pearlman can suck it. Liberal asshat! Fine he holds his opinions, but when he resorts to baseless name calling/mud slinging towards other's with differing opinions; these hollywood nitwits get put on my BAN list. I may watch this one now.
I wonder which will be worse. This or the new MiB reboot.

It’s coming out 11 days before End Game. Not much time to make money before EG takes over the planet.
You don't watch much then, do you?
