While Blackout still remains at 20Hz, Treyarch and Beenox have reportedly improved the multiplayer-server tickrate for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, boosting it from the previous 20Hz to 62Hz. It isn’t known when (or if) the battle royale mode will be similarly improved.
So yeah, while the Blackout servers are still not ideal, the multiplayer modes are now running as you’d expect (and similar to their open beta versions). This is definitely great news for Black Ops 4 fans, especially since Treyarch and Beenox have improved things prior to the release of Battlefield 5.
