What are you nerds playing this weekend?

Beat Super Mario Bros 3 on SNES (SMB All-Stars), like a boss with my oldest bud.

Mario World is next.... (he never played it, but I beat the hell out of it when I was a kid)
If you can get your hands on Yoshi's Island, it's a good follow-up to Super Mario World - if you can stand the graphics/style (I found it interesting enough).

Own it and beat it as a kid.... Great game IMO. (Yoshi's Story on the other hand.... smh)

Alas, my friend somehow has this idea in his head that it's more "kiddy" and I can't seem to sell him on it.

Ah okay, that's a shame. A lot of the games towards the end of the SNES lifetime were pretty amazing as they squeezed so much out of the system.

I rediscovered Dying Light, and I'm having a great time now that I can max it out and I don't have awful IPS glow ruining it. Fantastic game!

Beat Mario World this afternoon.

Now we're moving on to SMB - Lost Levels (aka real SMB 2)

When my officer is not punishing Rebel Scum in Star Wars BattleFront II, he's scouring the horizon for enemy tanks from the copula of his Sd.Kfz 234/3 (Puma) Armored Car in War Thunder.

Oh practicing abit of rooftop parcour as Altair in the first Assassins Creed.

Ditto. I’m at 2135 so a ways to go.
Same here only you are way closer than I am. I Just got the game recently and am only at like 800.

I also spent some time checking out the COD Blackout beta. Overall it was pretty fun but its a little rough around the edges still, which is to be expected for a beta.

Fallout New Vegas at the lowest settings possible with the exception of view distance set to 80% to allow for sniping when the need arises (roughly 20% of my gameplay).

Forge of Empires

Elvenar

Last Shelter: Survival

Quake Champions, New Colossus, and need to finish up The Messenger.

Gonna fire up H3:WoG, and maybe finish one random scenario game in one sitting.

Beat Mario World this afternoon.

So, it's been decided SMB 1 & 2 has wack jumping/primitive platforming. (you can't control yourself in the air like the in the later games)

Can you guys suggest some GREAT snes platformers?

I'm leaning towards DKC 1 & 2, but I'm open to trying obscure sh*t.

Lately, i've been fooling around with the Champions Online MMO, and enjoying Dungeons 3. For FPS, i've been playing Ghost Recon Wildlands. Been dabbling in a few other games but those 3 are the current ones.

Still more wow, bejeweled 3, maybe some division or eso and more state of decay 2

The Division, some Battlefront II, maybe some Destiny 2. New Belgium Voodoo Ranger IPA to go along with it.

Medal of Honor Warfighter

I loved the mulitiplayer when the game was still active. It was admittedly a mediocre game but something about it kept me interested. I still need to go back and play the single player campaign some day.

Hunt Showdown
Monster Hunter
Spell Force 3
Shadows Awakening
Ghost Recon Wildlands
COD BLOPS 4
Divinity Original Sin 2
Pillars of Eternity 2
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3
Pathfinder Kingmaker

Those are the game I'm going to skip or play this week untill Black Ops 4 comes out next two weeks.

i wanted to wait for a sale on yakuza kiwami 2, but i think i might just get it @ full price.

I think I'm going to play some original Quake along with my usual (as of late) Quake Champions and New Colossus playing. It's an id sort of weekend. Also, it's fall now, and every fall I either engross myself in a classic Mario or Zelda game. It's been a tradition for the last 25 years or so, so I need to pick the one(s) I'll be playing this year. I'm thinking it might be the Wii-U version of Twilight Princess, and emulated Mario 64 in glorious high resolution with AA running at 60 FPS.

More wow, some destiny 2 now that I fixed the crashing, only took me almost a year :p, maybe some bejeweled 3 and D3

I hope to finish The Last of Us on PS4. My current opinion is that this game is very overrated. It just feels unnecessarily drawn out. I'm tired of fighting infected groups and stealthy taking out humans between the brief encounters with friendlies that actually progress the story, I just want to know how it ends. I'm definitely going to skim the YouTube playthroughs of the sequel before buying.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Now that I have a 2080Ti, I'm able to make the game look about as good as any game ever has.

The Division, survival and more grinding for commendations
Shadow of the Tomb Raider, working towards 100% completion now that I've finished the game, might start new game+

Lego Hobbit.. while full up of cough and flu meds. Maybe I'll unlock David S. Pumpkins in the game.

The Division, survival and more grinding for commendations

Thanks for the reminder. I never really put any time into Survival but a few weeks ago I decided to play around with it a bit. Pretty fun, I’ll have to play some more this weekend.

Was Wow but now Pathfinder: Kingmaker (playing) and AC Odyssey (will start it up but heard it's a helluva resource hog and no SLI either).

This weekend i'll be playing AC:Odyssey, finishing up the last few missions in Dungeons 3, Leveling up in Champions Online, and probably dabble in a few other games most likely...

Battlefront II (which besides its flaws has some merit) and playing my Paladin in Pathfinder.
Going to try and finish AC 1 (the very first game). I am a completionist so games take a LONG time to finish. AC1 is...OK. Its starting to get really boring and getting all the flags is bloody annoying, I hope AC2 is better.

I found the game to be on the short side, some of the sneaking was a pain though.
