If we are going to jump to every irrational conclusion possible, then yes, this is a valid interpretation of the title, even if we know that it is not what they meant, just like we know that what they meant was not sexist in any way...
 
The "article" was honestly written as satire, but it just wasn't funny. Because it comes from Jezebel it's taken at face value, but they really should've applied their sarcasm tag.

It's probably important to note that the quality of articles from Jezebel, on average, makes it understandably difficult to clearly identify this one as satire. With a trivial amount of effort you can point out similar articles that apparently aren't satire. It's actually kind of clever if you think about it... if the article proves popular it's serious... if it proves unpopular then they can just classify it as parody retroactively.
 
The funny thing about crazy feminist articles is that they're all click bait for insecure men.

It is used to lend gravitas to titles and speeches, as it makes them sound more like the bard himself and other old writings.

Nothing to see here, other than a feminist who has lost touch with reality.

It's a huge pity, because feminism is IMPORTANT. Nothing is more important than fighting for equality and justice for all under the law. When some tool like this goes on a stupid misinformed rant about something that doesn't matter at all, they make a mockery of the movement for equality and justice, and make it so much harder for people to take it seriously and make much needed improvements to society.

I was hoping Jezebel would die with the whole Gawker thing, but their clickbait nonsense will apparently now live on after the recent acquisition by Univision.

Yes.

Several VERY troubling parts to this post.

1.) Quoting literal interpretation of scripture as fact, something that is crazy even IF you are Christian, and is a pretty dick move considering religious freedom. Your religious beliefs apply to you, and you only, not everyone else. These are not rules. They are religious beliefs held by a very few extremist literal interpreters of the bible.

2.) "You aren't equal". "You are a complement to man" etc. Anyone who doesn't believe that all human beings, regardless of race, creed, gender or anything else should be equal is - quite frankly - a terrible human being.

3.) "Writing your own rules". The rules of human decency are very clear. See #2.

4.) "Defaulting to original rules". The ONLY way things are going to improve is if people go back and call out people living by their old "rules" (which aren't rules to begin with). The Status Quo does not have value in and of itself. "This is the way we've always done things" is the worst possible reason you can ever give anyone for why you are doing something. We should call out our racist old grandmas, and we should call out those who don't believe women and men are absolute equals.
 
I think we should all agree that if this is what is left to complain about.We can stop all the other Equaltiy handicap laws (must have 40% female in this or that groups).
i mean clearly it has succeed since all we have left is this crap to "care" about.

I remember star trek got trouble for the same reasons. "To boldly go where no man has gone before" was changed to "to boldly go where no one has gone before" But the latter one is a fallacy, because wherever you encounter sentient aliens, then someone was there before.
