Thanks for posting that Ryleh. I'm a little concerned by the height listed in the specs: 2.68 inches (68 mm). That doesn't seem right. If it is, it wont fit in the L2.

It shows 1.57" for a height on this page from Galaxy, better pics too. That looks more like the right number.

I think that angle might be exaggerating. Whenever one of us gets ours shipped to us we'll be able to properly measure.
Emailed Galaxy Tech Support about the possibility of a single slot width version of the GTX 750 Ti. They responded that they will have to ask their engineers and get back to me. I'm pretty happy with that response.
Check this out It's only a matter of time before someone comes out with a solution.

Has anyone tried a TV tuner card in the L1? My girlfriend and I are thinking about cutting the cord, so I might build a HTPC/DVR with an L1 that I recently bought. Looks like most of them are low-profile but the height was my concern. Well, that and I would have to knock a hole in the case potentially for an IR port.
This was mentioned in the L2 thread, but it applies to the L1, and I thought it was interesting.
The drive bracket could theoretically be rotated 90 degrees, and mounted to the bottom drive mounting holes. On the L1 it would leave 62 x 213 mm of space at the front (44 mm from the inside front to the motherboard). Some 2.5 mm spacers would be required to make it work with the bracket. Or... you could just mount a single drive without the bracket.
Still amazing to see the size when the L1 arrived, it'll be replacing my Node 304 which is mostly empty, and half of that is the PSU.
Interesting thought, I'd never considered mounting it that way. How much clearance would remain between the bracket and motherboard?
Glad it arrived safely, and hope you like it! If you have any feedback after working with it be sure to let me know.
Everything looks good so far and the inclusion of the rubber fan screws actually helped as the Noiseblocker fan mounting screws are 3mm due to the silicone gasket and sleeve mounts they come with, as a result the screw heads were borderline in diameter for the case mounting holes. Tried the rubber screws and they mounted the fans fine even though they're closed (need a bit of trimming, lol). Probably do some experimentation over the next few days before transferring the system, then I'll do a build log.
Glad they worked for you. I had considered making the fan mounting holes smaller, but didn't want to exclude those using metal fan screws. Maybe I should reconsider now that I'm including the silicone fan mounts.
I'm not sure I'd bother, the holes could maybe go a bit smaller without sacrificing anything but I don't think that 3mm screw type of mounting assembly for fans is common enough to change it (bought them for 15mm thickness and PWM capability). The included mount kind of sucks after seeing it, especially the screws which are about 35mm long. WTF?
Mine seems to be staying the way it is now, hidden behind the TV as the HTPC. Quick, silent, and tiny. I love this little case. I did away with the 2.5" bracket in favor of just screwing the SSD to the edge of the case.

I have the CPU overclocked to 4.0ghz and everything works great on the 160XT with the 192w brick.
Can you lay out what connectors this PSU has? Is this guy any quieter under load? This seems like a great cheap alternative although 400w is getting low for bigger video cardsBut if you are looking for that form factor I offered this guy 30 bucks and he accepted.
Hey, lone do we have a definitive maximum height for the cpu cooler? For both AMD and Intel system?
For the L1, absolute maximum is about 71 mm. But that's right to the side panel. So real maximum sort of depends on what your comfortable with. I'd recommend 60 mm max. I'm not sure about AMD though.
The L2 maybe has only 3 mm more clearance, due to taller standoffs.
Should that read "3mm less clearance" if the standoffs are taller? My cooler setup is nominally 60mm and with a bigger fan I don't think you want to go much less than 10mm gap.
Still 3 mm more clearance with the L2, even with the taller standoffs. Added question to L2 thread.
I haven't had any cooling issues, but I don't do any OC'ing. It's definitely a trade-off to have a non-vented side panel. It's quieter, looks better to some, but doesn't provide the CPU with as much fresh air.

Hmm. Not me.
My L1 was and my L2 will be hooked up to a 27" screen with peripherals that I can customize (just like I can customize what's in the case itself). As said, this isn't for mobility.
