I'm getting the No gun bug, does anybody here have any suggestions to fix it?
I've already tried to repair the game, completely deleted and re-download the game and I am still getting the problem.

I had that issue once. After repair installing the game, it went away. Have you tried hitting melee when your gun disappears?

Is it just me, or are the majority of players illiterate? They seem completely unable to understand simple instructions, information or requests for things such as ammo and medkits.

Yes, I get very annoyed when I request ammo using the command rose and the other guy just looks at me. I usually don't have issues getting health from assault though, they seem to hand out medkits like candy.

Haha seems so at times. Like the lvl 3 sniper who wants to take the heli to learn on a live server where more experienced players are playing. You kindly tell him too find a empty server too fly on and practice and also a noob server where he fits right in.

They won't follow that advice and decide too hold up a great heli team which is actually helping the team. He will fly right out straight into danger and die instantly. Respawn and come right back to the heli pad. You have to love those type of players..

Well lets just say I get very angry when someone in a jet decides to go 923482390482384 miles in the sky and descends like a blimp on top of my tank shooting me to pieces while I still can't see them. ;) :p

Learn to fly a jet ... Get a buddy who can help you.. Soflam them.. Learn the MAA.. chose maps with no jets... other than that you are pretty much screwed.

Me and pilot chew tanks up all day to keep our MAA alive to counter jets on us. Part of the game.

Something I just noticed ...... I have put countless hours into BF3, I am a premium member on PC and PS3 and I think I am pretty good at the game. However it came to my attention when talking to coworkers who I used to play with on ALL platforms and they stated they don't anymore because since the premium service they die far to quickly. I tried playing on my buddies account on PC and My game on 360 which is not premium and I have to say by God they have a point. Anyone else notice this? On the premium accounts I can take a few shots and normally get to cover without dying. My normal ratio is like 30-18 give or take while doing objectives. On the non premium accounts I am going 10-25 and die alot sooner is this just bad bad luck? I have tried this a few times. Sorry about the wall of text.

Seems like bad luck to me. My scores are about the same with or without premium. Maybe you're decent on pc, but not very good on xbox? There's some who are good on all platforms and others who are good on one, but struggle on the other.

Nah my score and KD are pretty standard on all with PC being the best. And I even felt i wasnt doing as well for the time i played after premium was released until I bought Premium.

Which makes perfect sense right.
Where team deathmatch Maybe one guy on ur team is a medic and you can't buy a revive or a medkit.

MY biggest peev is people leave the ru deployment without picking up players.
choppers and tanks man. People suck man.

is there any way to unlink this game off my origin. Im kind of bored with it and want to sell it. I have the code for it

I even have trouble getting medkits. I'm there at 1% health or something, spamming the Q key at the medic, asking for meds in the chat, and the "medics" are just running around with their AEKs completely oblivious. I leave some pretty choice comments in the chatbox when it happens, I can tell you. :)

There's just nothing quite as exhilarating as running with the flag on a dirt bike with half the other team chasing you and bullets flying everywhere. Really gets the heart pumping. I should start recording all my play and make a compilation of some of these. Any good suggestions for something to record with? I can use the streaming program I use (Open Broadcast Software) but I'd like to be able to record at a higher quality.

I love using the Javelin on people driving the dirt bike. There is no such thing as overkill.:D

haha, I can attest to that oh shit moment. When you're the second seater on the dirt bike and turn around to see a jav missile following you. Split second decision, bail and yell at the driver to bail on TS3. CTF is pretty fun, I'm glad they brought it back. For the competitive players here. TWL started a 5v5 CTF infantry only with dirt bikes" ladder. I believe there was talk of CEVO doing similar inbetween season 1 playoffs and season 2.

most medics have 320's not medkits :p

I wonder if the 320 or paddles would have been a better dev choice

less 320 spam if you have give up rev's

Does the flashing medic icon appear over Assault players' heads even if they don't have a medkit equipped?

Yeah, I don't recall seeing flashing medic icons over assault players either.

Got it, don't play Normal very much. That makes more sense why it would be frustrating; in hardcore your character says it, but sometimes it can be hard to tell who exactly is asking for it.

You definitely need to use the comma rose. I drop medpacks all the damn time, whether or not team mates need them, before peaking corners etc, knowing that I'll probably need it.

Use the comma rose when you can, because I rarely use chat these days, one of the first things I do in any pub game is hide it. Too much bs, hackusations or people that want to play chatterbox3.

I do exactly the same thing. I am just tired of all the dumb side conversations so I too turn the chat off. It's just a good habit to drop the kits constantly.

Honestly don't see why I would need to tell you I need something like ammo or hp. Especially if a group is organizing behind cover or around a flag or something. Just drop your god damn boxes.

Whenever I would play support or assault I would be dropping boxes constantly.

Oh no I agree. I'm just saying that, it may be whatever you are typing in chat is falling on deaf ears. I personally hide mine, so I frequently miss out on anything that is said in the box. Doesn't mean everyone is though.

I don't how many times I've actually opted to kit swap a dead support guy, drop ammo, swap back, then revive him. Knowing he'll never drop any.

I usually just swap kits, then drop ammo, and then swap my kit back and never revive him (only if he never drops ammo). Too many useless support guys in this game.

I do this all the time. I don't know why more people don't. If i'm not a medic but I see a medic die next to me, it's habit for me to swap kits to revive them once I kill the dude who killed the medic. I feel like it should be common sense, but obviously I'm in the minority here because it rarely happens.

Common sense isn't very common. I think I'm in the .0001% of players who, as squad leader, actually mark objectives to take.

Glad I'm not the only one. It's rare that I find my squad leader actually doing their job. It's extra points for fucks sake.

This as well... Nobody freaking marks the objective when they are leader. It's probably because half the time people don't stick with their squad. I always mark objectives as a squad leader even if my squad isn't listening. It's pretty crazy bad you can roll over a flags with a good squad that listens to the leader.

Yup. I find that if I start marking objectives, I start to accumulate squadmates who actually work together. Funny how that works. The one thing I absolutely hate about hardcore is allowing to spawn only on the squad leader. I think it actually decreases teamwork, as it causes your pub squad to spawn all over the place when the SL is dead.

I didn't play BF2, but isn't that how spawning worked in that game? You could only spawn on the squad leader? I thought people liked that.

It is funny how it works. I've actually played several games where I announced in chat that my squad actually works as a squad and I order commands, and anyone who wants to join is welcome to. Low and behold it fills up with people who follow the orders. 9/10 times we are the ace squad. It's not rocket science! haha.

That is kind of annoying in hardcore, but when you get 2 medics in the squad and people actually swap kits when needed, it works out okay. That's the key though. Kit swapping is a must in hardcore!

That is exactly how BF2 works which may be why I didn't mind it. It adds difficulty to the game. As a leader I find myself occasionally hiding and waiting until my squad spawns on me if we get wiped. We can then push once we all are back in which more often than not leads to us advancing. This game does reward good squads, they are just hard to come by.

True, but in pubs it just breaks down the squad unfortunately. Nine times out of ten your squad leader ends up being some idiot sniper 20 miles away from anything important, or doesn't take care of himself enough when deep in/behind enemy lines and realize how important he is alive and as a spawn point. Perhaps if you brought back 6 man squads (or 8 man in BF4, give us 128 player games!) and had a squad leader and a sergeant, both acting as spawn points.
