Skyrim Mods - A Comprehensive List & User Support Thread

Donated. Please people send him some new rig money! Prices in Russia must be crazy high.

When I run Boss I get this error

Evaluation of conditional ""http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2666 CBBE female body" or "http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6709 DIMONIZED UNP female body"." failed!

Also, I am getting flashing sky occasionally, stuttering sound and when inside objects sometimes clang around without stop. Weird.

In your skyrimprefs.ini, is bFloatPointRenderTarget= set to bFloatPointRenderTarget=1? If not, set it to bFloatPointRenderTarget=1 and this should fix the sky.

About the sound: Is this happening only after ENB?

Is your vsync turned off? Flying stuff in interiors tends to be caused by vsync being turned off (along with misaligned game time).

May I ask what armor mod that is?

Tribunal robes and masks:

bFloatPointRenderTarget=1 is correct. These things were happening before the ENB. Tuirning off some older mods that need to be updated.

Vysnc was on. I went to nvidia inspector and limited fps to 60.

I'm running "Skyrim Immersive Creatures" mod and the creatures are obviously too strong for the area. Anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix? I accepted the quest to get the claw for the Riverwood Trader and the first mob I run across is a caster that summons a demon. I literally get 2 shot by it repeatedly. If it decides to summon the pet it's a one shot. I went back and hired Faendal and he lasted a whole 3 hits. I did install another mod "Birds of Skyrim" that adds more birds to the game. Think it or another mod is causing an issue?

There have been reports of some of the monsters being too difficult. He will be releasing a new version that tones the difficulty down.

Hi dj_2004! I was scanning his discussion thread on Skyrim Nexus and he responded to another person with instruction how to fix the problem. But me being a complete noob that's never used console commands in Skyrim didn't understand what to do.

Lifestorock said, "@Kulharin:
The Dawnstar spell "Vampires Bane" combined with the Restoration perk "Necromage" is a real undead killer.
This damn FX bug ... I bet you play as vampire right? Use the console help command to get the dragon priest FX spell ID. After that type "player.addspell XXXXXXXX", close and reopen console, type "player.removespell XXXXXXXX". XXXXXXXX is the ID you searched with the help command.

@Geostar:
See above comment.
"

This person Geostar posted this question to get the above response from the developer, "I like this mod so far. But i dont know if anyone reported this but running into a blood hybrid what ever they called at lv 1 during the first main quest while walking up the hill to bleak falls is just little to mutch why even put it there?? and as i see they dont really seem to scale well with difficulty they 1 or 2 shot me everytime even on lowest difficulty..."

Do you have an idea what the developer is talking about? Ha ha I'm Googling console commands in Skyrim right now. Must digest more information faster! :)

If it is just that one enemy (I think the author purposely put that enemy there to torment people :)), then just toggle god mode on and kill it or use the kill command on it.

To me, it sounds like the add/remove spell was to fix a FX bug. The first sentence describing the undead killer spell combo would work if you're high enough level to use them and the enemy is undead.

Yeah, god mode is the best choice. The kill command is somewhat wacky in Skyrim as you usually have to get close to the enemy and click on its head to actually select it. In past games you could click anywhere on the enemy. Then there is the killall command to kill everything in the cell. :)

God mode is good if you need to move a lot of stuff too (such as when moving to a new house) as you have infinite carry weight when it is enabled.

SkyUI Map Searching (will be in v3.2 release):

Oooh that's slick!

I still prefer the map-looking map though. Especially because the default neglects to label mountain ranges, regions, rivers, bodies of water, etc.

I wish from the get-go they would have had a map which had all that labeled, and then referred to locations in dialogue. Would have been way more immersive.

My visuals are improving. Still can't take a picture worth a crap but here is evidence that I am only semi-tarded.

Still modding the people. They look pretty bad still.

Do you know about the "tm" and "tfc" command? Entering tm into the console will take away all menu's and tfc will allow you to move around from where your character is to take better pics. Entering tfc 1 will pause the game while you move around.

Ok so I did the texture pack combiner using the maximum resolutions available wherever it was possible(except like 1). I didn't use Lush Tree's, just because it was recommended against. Anyways, I feel like things look better close up than far away oddly enough. Are there any essential ini tweaks? And Grass still seems to look really Mehhh, even with Lush Grass. (I'm gonna check out some more green grass areas, I just know in the northern areas with snow and less grass it looked shitty)

I'm using RCRN btw.

I suggest using Skyrim Flora Overhaul. If you do use SFO, remove Lush Grass since SFO already does something similar.

Make sure your AF is at 16.

Bethesda's textures look good far away and may look better than the textures from mods. There was some discussion on this back when the game was released.

I got this Hialgo boost tool last night and I have to say, it is working for my machine. When I am moving around I get a constant 59-60 fps. This is with my box in the sig and using all HD textures, reallike ENB and a crap ton of other mods. I am using Razor game booster to launch ATTK(another system tool) which in turn runs SKSE.
I have a couple screen shots on the nexus, here is one. Nexus image link

I'm guessing HIALGOBOOST works best with old hardware as me and another member found it to give us worse performance when we tried it. That was a few months ago so maybe things have changed.

It would seem counterintuitive to use graphics-enhancing mods only to use a tool to reduce resolution to improve performance.

Not sure how it works. All I know is it hasn't made my game look worse and it has improved the fps. Maybe I am in the middle somewhere and it just works better on my setup. I will check again but you can see from my screen shot that I am doing pretty good for my hardware.
I have yet to notice a drop in resolution of graphics when moving and turning the camera a lot.

Any mods that overhaul/expand on the guild quests? Most interested in the Mages Guild...I don't think I could bring myself to play through it a 3rd time.

couldn't find anything on the Nexus.

To the OP: Holy crap, thanks man! I'm going to be re-installing shortly(haven't played since before the 1st DLC came out) and this is exactly the kind of resource I was looking for.

I'll try to update the list today as I have a decent amount of mods that I've been meaning to add.

And I just found this cool utility:
Skyrim Performance Monitor
The Skyrim Performance Monitor is a utility used for tracking Skyrims Memory, VRAM, CPU, GPU, Threads system resource usage, and also FPS as they relate to INI settings and installed mods.

For the Dark Brotherhood:
The Dark Brotherhood Resurrection Part 1

That's the only guild quest expander mod that I can remember. Not a whole lot of quest mods out there.

So, today I noticed something odd. Every now and then I would get some disgusting artifacts, although that might be my 7950 not being able to hold its stock clocks(stupid MSI, y u no know how to OC?)

And also, Iron weapons and the robe of the monk from dawnguard, are that purple/pink color. Should I try archive invalidation or do I have to reinstall my mods?

Lastly, anyone have a good guide for setting up skyrim through the CCC or something like radeon pro? Seems ingame AF is complete crap, and AA could use some help too.

Archive invalidation is obsolete for Skyrim. All you have to do is hunt down the textures for iron weapons (location should be: textures\weapons\iron) and the robe. Of course, you can try reinstalling the mods but that seems overkill and may not fix it.

The artifacting may be caused by your drivers.

Is there a mod that prevents the keyboard & mouse from being disabled after using a gamepad? Decided to try using a gamepad instead the other night because trying to navigate the level up skill tree using the KB&M seems to be a nightmare even with SkyUI installed. I noticed however that when using the gamepad, the KB&M is disabled so I still have to use the gamepad to even bring up the menu and exit the game, for instance.

I've had that same issue since launch. Seems like we're in the minority on this one. I just edited the game pad out of the ini files so I can leave it hooked to my PC 24/7. If you find a solution let me know!

Maybe Xpadder can fool Skyrim into thinking there is no controller hooked up?

I've got XPadder, but not sure if it's worth setting up to avoid the issue. I figure as soon as I get used to relying on the gamepad for everything it won't bother me, I was just a little surprised and annoyed the other night when I was trying to use the KB to exit the game.
