Well, the Amazon reviews aren't too good.
Can it be registered in Steam?
no. You have to use Horrigin. I don't mean those cool hunters from Voyager.

for 10 bucks its okay at best. the single player campaign is a straight up linear experience and has none of the feeling of the first game or Warhead. and for a Crytek game much of the graphics are a joke even on DX11 Ultra with high res texture pack.
The only games that requires Origin is BF3 and I think SWTOR.
Crysis 2 can be played without Origin. You download it and delete Origin right after.
Disagree with your statement. Campaign is not COD-ish at all. It does not have respawning enemies, does have multiple paths to achieve objectives and many more tactical play options unlike COD which is heavily scripted and has only a single path forward. Only thing this game borrows from COD is that it is scripted and has a single objective at a given time (no side missions or open world/Island to explore). However, it does have multiple paths to same objective and varying options.Crysis 2 had a decent sp campaign, but I wouldn't call it awesome. It's very Call-of-Duty-ish IMO, compared to the original Crysis which didn't play like a CoD game.
I think I paid $19: I played the campaign once complete, and I may have played 1 mp round. $10 would be worth it.
And btw: I hated the guy Gould in Crysis 2; everything he said anything at all, it drove me nuts, terrible voice acting and just plain lousy. He drove me crazy and ruined much of the game for me.
the first 2/3 of Crysis can be approached in any way you see fit and has pretty wide open areas. you can literally play that game anyway you want. Warhead was a little different but still offered way more freedom and more wide open areas than Crysis 2. Crysis 2 feels like any other cheaply done generic linear shooter. most areas are small and you basically have to go right by the book between cut scenes and scripted events. and the graphics are okay at best. for the massive toll they take on framerates in DX11 Ultra, they are a joke though. From what I played of the game I found the SP experience better than Crysis or Warhead. Crysis was a horribly disappointing SP experience with Crytek ripping away any and all freedom in the second half one an absolutely shit final boss. I could never force myself to finish Warhead. Crysis was every bit as linear as 2 is, 2 just doesn't pretend that there is a world worth exploring beyond the beaten path. The graphics in 2 are very good.

how will this game play on my i2500K ~4.5ghz and GTX 470? I tried the original crysis back when I had...i think a ATI 4850 and performance sucked so bad i stopped playing it and i'm the type of FPS gamer that needs pretty high or ultra settings or I give up.
Terribly. Requires at least 3 graphics cards to be playable.

Anyone know when this sale will be coming back?
Crysis 2 may be $9.99, and so $4.99 after the promo code if you have it on the 21st.
