LOL?

DA2 for 45 dollar? They must be smoking something....

But DA Ultimate Edition is definitely worth its money..

I think DA2 was worth $45. That's about $1/hour for the time I got out of it, which I did enjoy even if it wasn't nearly as good as Origins.

Do I need the steam version of DA for the steam version of DA:A to work?

lol I would not buy DA2 for 4 dollars and 50 cents, to say nothing of 45 dollars. And I'm right pissed at EA for repackaging "DAO Ultimate" about 4 times now. I own one of the earlier "ultimate edition" versions (paid 50 bucks for it) that is missing a bunch of content. I will never give Bioware my money again and EA is even lower on my shitlist than ever.

Thinking about it. I still don't know if DA is my thing but I don't pirate and theres no demo.

Does anyone ever leak the deals ahead of time? I'm thinking no.

it happens occasionally. the deals were figured out ahead of time for the '30 days of deals' on D2D last month.

sometimes when you play with the steam image names in your browser you can figure out future deals, but it seems they've probably not uploaded the future ones yet this time around to be safe

DA:Ultimate is one of those games I've always wanted and meant to play, but I also knew I needed to wait for it to drop in price. Should I or should I not?

Backlog is pretty bad right now, think it'll even get lower over the next 3-4 months?

Grab DA:Ultimate. It is easily worth much more than the $20. If you enjoy the game you can easily spend 60+ hours on it and the DLC included with it.

+1,000,000

Bioware can suck it. EA can suck it too.

I am in the same boat you are. I sat here and decided to wait until it goes on sale next time around after i get some of my backlog taken care of.

I just have decided to halt all game purchasing for a while no matter how good the opportunity is... My back log is ridiculous and experience tells me that deals are only going to repeat again sometime when I actually would play the game and not just collecting them.

you should do what the rest of us do - buy the games now, download and install, don't get around to playing them until at least two additional sales have come and gone advertising even lower prices than what you originally paid. it's the [H] way.

... Download, install, start game options, crank settings up, play with it a couple of minutes to see if it works and then forget about it until it is on sale again and when you are about to buy it Steam tells you already have it.... that's the [H] way!

Damn, that describes me perfectly.

Agreed gonna pass. No idea when Id get around to playing it.

Just bit on the Origins Ultimate Edition with Awakening and all 9 DLC for $19.99. Haven't played the game, now I'll have to see what all the hype is about :p

I doubt that any one of these EA Week sales will be any better than What has been on the EA Store recently. Steam has been slacking.

I've been doing this for a while now. You save a shit-ton of money. Only time I don't bother waiting is when it's a game my buddys' are all going to order too (example: Diablo 3).

Thx guys, already had origins, picked up the Ultimate Edition to get Awakening and all the DLC's.

I'll buy Dead Space 2 if it's cheap enough with the sale

I like for all my games to be on Steam :)

Hahahaha. My experience with Metro 2033, Crysis, etc:
1. Buy expensive video card/CPU.
1. Install super demanding new game.
2. Crank settings.
3. Drool.
4. Play WoW or BC2.

Same. Except with CS:S and LoL. :p

I'm hoping for Dead Space 2 and Crysis 2 at a good price... Maybe Need For Speed: Hot Persuit 2010.

Geez Steam sales will have the end of me (that being said last time I checked I had the equivalent of 140€ in games that I only paid 35€ thanks to Steal sales  )

Shame DA Ultimate is not available in my region.

Hope to see Mass Effect, might finally pick it up if its on sale

35€ is going to be the end of you? That's $51 in Americaland. My steam account is "valued" at $1,745.03. No Idea what I actually paid for all of it, I would guess about half of that. Steam sales are a mother fucker sometimes.

Same. Except with CS:S and LoL. :p

I was playing Stalker Clear skies(which I've owned for years without playing) for what was gonna be my first serious start last night. I got about 5min in, killed by some stupid boar or something, immediately closed the game and played CS:S for the rest of the night.

DAMN YOU CS FOR BEING SO ACCESSIBLE!
