that's a sweet setup. (I didn't want to quote your pics but someone else already did.)

I did the same with the lights on the jerker. One note.. I recommend relocating the lights "behind" the lcd. It makes for good ambient light w/out it bouncing off the front of the screen. I've tried it both ways.

Also.. think you'd have room for a third lcd? I think that would complete the setup.

That's what I was thinking, Antok desk is perfect for an Eyefinity setup. Thanks for the link! It's cheap compared to the Galant.

It is a cheap! i was useing tape, and i was putting strips on the table, when i took them off it peeled the finish off.

Wipeout, is that your fapping mirror? :D

LOL, no. Our house is pretty small, my wife actually has a dresser that's to the right of the photos. It's so she can't scare the crap out of me while I'm working from home.

After hours, on the other hand...Well...;)

Ikea is addictive!

I spy Companion Cube plush and 2142 box. :D

Fan of Red Bull Racing I see as well. Looking forward to their momentum carrying over to 2010.

Fan of F1, period. Loved Brawn and RBR stealing the McLaren/Ferrari thunder this year. Only one month until F1 starts again!

The description says particle board, that type of material is not that durable. For $100+ desks they should be solid wood.

Solid wood is not practical on ANY Desk. Particleboard is plenty durable, and if it has a laminate applied, then expect years of use without any signs of wear and tear.
Most desks that have a wood finish, are simply veneered (which is a thin 1/32" layer of wood) over particleboard core.

Solid wood is not advisable on any desk as there is too much seasonal movement and the desk would warp and destroy itself over time. Not to mention the cost associated with a solid wood desk.

Love the organized chaos... you did a good job on cabling because for all the gear that you have, don't really see all that much of the cables at all. With all that stuff, it could get really really bad.. nice job.

I just got one of those 4 dollar white table top and some black legs, its pretty cool, not too big though. :(

Thanks, i'd really like to clean up under the fredrick but I'm in an out of that stuff so much that it's not really feasible. As it stands I can dyson the floor and i don't have to worry about the cables. I suppose function over form :)

Went to IKEA today...

Place was packed like crazy, I mentioned I was going to get the fredrik but upon seeing it for real I thought it was too big, although the model with the top shelfs was an ideal size but that model looks ugly to me.

I ended up getting a Galant (47"x23") with T legs. I didn't understand why this smaller galant cost 60 bucks more than the fredrik :p

I'll post pics eventually.
