Probably around the same time for me as well (2001). I thought your username was familiar. You were one of the top producers then, IIRC.I started about a month after kyle Put his seal of approval on it. Acually it was genome@home back then. Ran Seti starting in 2000, and started folding for team 33 around 2003 or so, and is the only team i've folded under.
Is there a stats history site? can I look up my rank in 2004?
How many systems were you running back then at your peak? I think I had 5-6 systems at most and some of them were old architectures even for that time (socket-7 and 8).Yes i had a huge home farm was top 5 in genome and top ten here for a while. Im comming back a little slower this time.
That would be awesome albeit on the expensive side, but if you're going to be using it as a main system then it's going to be great all around.Guarantee i will be comming. think im gonna sell my dirtbike and build one of those 6 core i7's when they come out.

Hopefully by then -bigadv is available for A3 WU/SMP2 clients otherwise you're going to be limited to 8 cores in the VM and have to run -bigadv as 8 cores only with the other 4 cores being used with the SMP -4 flag in a Windows SMP2 client. No way to get more than 8 cores in the VM. Or you could run a native *nix distro as well I suppose, but keep that in mind before buying (just an FYI).
That should produce very good output from my estimations. I wonder what two SMP2 clients with the -smp 6 flag will produce?Hopefully by then -bigadv is available for A3 WU/SMP2 clients otherwise you're going to be limited to 8 cores in the VM and have to run -bigadv as 8 cores only with the other 4 cores being used with the SMP -4 flag in a Windows SMP2 client.
You can but that would require purchasing the software and it isn't cheap, unfortunately. No way to get more than 8 cores in the VM..
I remember someone with 18 systems. I guess it must have been you!I cant remember how many sytems i had but i do remember 25ghz worth of PIII's and athlons. Im thinking 18 computers maybe. had 3 dual PIII's. man i thought they where the shit lol.
I had my dual Barton Athlon system (TK7) running until this past December and it would have still been folding if I didn't make a foolish mistake...I was still on my athlon xp 2500 till nov 2009
12.06.04 was my first WU. Not folding as much as I used to, but I still have a zombie boxen floating around out there.![]()
