WD40? How? You just spray under the buttons? Also, what tweaks have you done?
Putting a drop of WD40 on the clicker solves the double clicking problem. I soaked the clicker and it sits in a "tub" of oil. You have to remove the screws and disassemble the mouse a bit. Mine had it very bad, would double click constantly when I was moving around menu's in Windows. It hasn't double clicked a single time since I did it though, completely solved it.
The other tweak I did was put white lithium grease on the scroll wheel mechanism. I hate to hear any sound at all when scrolling. It totally killed all the plastic noise. The feel of scrolling is perfect with just a slight bit of resistance for accuracy. Feels like turning butter now and my index finger never tires. I took a hammer to my old mouse after I was done.
