That'll change after I get my other rigs up and running. Oh, I just now remember that I formatted my rig after adding in two new hard drives... I'll need to put in WCG on that as well.

Thanks for the stats update Peter. You're a stats animal for sure. I think you ought to make the jump to a team with some real potential. That's team name HardOCP with Boinc team number of 1411. Ahhh heck just look in our guides for setup instructions. We'll make it easy on ya! :D

I just finished setting up OpenSuse 11.0 64 bit on one of my Q6600's yesterday with the latest "recommended" 64 bit 'nix client (6.2.15) running @ 3.3Ghz and I gotta tell you it flies through WU. It's been just over 24 hours since I got Boinc setup on it and it's already turned in 26 WU.

It's too late in the game to get it done now, but after the race I'm going to setup a second quad just like it I think.

Alrighty then... since you're off by a day in those numbers (16th isn't over and WCG hasn't posted the team output for the day yet AND the +116937 was on 12/12 not 12/13) I guess I'll have to take it upon myself to keep you honest.

Not that we think anyone from AnandTech would try to pull the shens on us or anything...:rolleyes::p

So I'll be keeping my own little stats spreadsheet let's say for posterity and such. Ignore the 1st three sheets and concentrate on the 4th titled "WCG Daily". I'll be uploading a fresh copy every couple of days as I can.

Take notice we've knocked your average daily gain on us down by 14% already. Not too shabby considering the late notice that you REALLY wanted this to be a race.This'll be the longest 18.8 days in TAS's life. :D

Current output for the day according to Free DC Stats has you up by 192/1344 Boinc/WCG points. Nice job HardOCP!!

The stats spreadsheet has been modified. Enjoy!

A couple of tidbits from the stats sheet:

1. Since we found out there's a race on, our daily output has increased 21%.

2. We've recovered 7% of the lead Anandtech had when they decided to tell us they wanted to race us. Their lead on us has dropped from 23% on 12/12 to 16% on 12/16. Nice job all!
 
Got a race on our hands, eh boys? I added one Dual core. I'll see what else I have around and get it up.

As of my last look at Free-DC stats, it looks like we're spanking them pretty good so far today! 15,890/127,120 Boinc/WCG points! Tonights spreadsheet update should be interesting. The spreadsheet numbers are all based off of "official" WCG daily stats in keeping in line with Peter's score keeping.

Nice job gang!! Way to step up.

welp i just manually updated all my clients which came out to 8 completed projects which puts me over 20 again for the second day in a row.. so we will see what the out come is tonight.. and 3 of them were CE projects.. which means some nice points.. right now my x2 6400+ is stuck doing 2 17 hour CE projects.. so tomorrow will be a nice 400+ points added on..
 
Alright stats fans.. the numbers are in and impressive!

Points for 12/17:
HardOCP - 689,515
AnandTech - 540,063

We picked up another 149,452 on them and since 12/13 we've picked up a total of 204,124 points. We've recovered 10% of the lead they had on us from 12/13 and our daily output since 12/13 has increased a whopping 25%.

Y'all are doing a GREAT JOB!

Matter of fact I've added a bit of eye candy in the latest stats spreadsheet as a reward. You'll notice what appears to be a giant mouth that just might gobble Team Cheesepuff up before this is over.

Moral of the story: Don't piss off the fat lady! :p

Time for an intraday update. It's been pretty note worthy the way everyone has stepped up on this and worked on adding more juice. It shows in a big way. We've been averaging over 2 million per month output rate for the past three days.

Damned impressive... damned impressive indeed! It looks like we're on the way to another spank 'em and thank 'em sorta day as well.

Currently checked from Free-DC @ 1500 EST. We're up for the day by 13270/92890 Boinc/WCG points.

We've gained back 204124 in the past 5 days. We've got 16 days left to go counting today and it's looking like we're going to pick up close to or a bit better than 100k again today. We were behind as of yesterdays stats update by 1,181,140. We CAN still pull this off!!

Let's keep the pressure on 'em boys!
 
welp after running WCG on my turion x2 TL-60 i relized.. this processor completely pwns all my other systems points wise.. it takes the same amount of time to finish a project as my x2 be-2350 at 3ghz.. yet i avg about 225-250 points per project compared to the 140-160 points i get with my be-2350.. now if only this laptop had a half decent cooling i might be willing to keep this running but 85C 24/7 is out of the question for me.. but the 1000 points its gotten me in 3 days was worth it i think..
 
Way to go [H]orde! Im seeing some nice numbers here. Looks like on tonights update we have cut the lead down to a million. I need to find a couple more machines to borg.

lol i borged everything in my house.. even 2 of my other laptops that are missing monitors so now im up to 10 borgs, 3 desktops 7 laptops :p 3 laptops are dual cores..

ok please.. for the love of god.. some one shoot me.. i just got stuck with 4 30 hour clean energy projects on both of my high end dual cores.. yeah the 650 points ill get for each one is nice.. but ARG!!!!! and they are all high priority so it stopped the non high priority ones .. so i have 2 projects sitting suspended at over 70% complete on my be-2350 and 2 at 85% complete on my x2 6400... guess ill suspend the CEP ones after i wake up and let the other 4 finish..

I feel your pain. I had several over the past 2 days that were estimated to run 27+ hours with just over 24 hrs turnaround time. None of them ran over 17 hours.

I did ease that pain though by unselecting CEP until the race is over. ;)

ive been working on getting all my laptops to run cooler.. couldnt take listening to the loud friggin cpu fans any longer.. finally got my 2400+ undervolted from 1.45@ 73C 100% fan to 1.275 at 63C fan on low, got my turion x2 tl-60 from 1.175V@ 88C 100% fan to 1.00V @ 71C 100% fan.. next up is the pentium M 1.7ghz i want to get that down from 73C to 60C if i can..


btw has anyone noticed a lot of the CE projects erroring out or getting inconclusive errors? ive had 4 error/inconclusive on me in the last 3 days.. its friggin killing me on points..
