Yeah, I have been looking at that, but those CRTs were both free, so as long as they keep working, I might as well use them. I wasn't going to turn down 2 professional series viewsonics, even if they are 8 years old.

Sure...my bro uses as second screen an like 9years old SCOTT CRT, 19"...still keep working :)
But CRT's are awful for me...didnt have the free space for ;)

Here was it before: http://hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1032958998&postcount=3016

I have the best setup?
-I really wouldn't say that. Others blow me away.
Im really not here to try and gain that title. So thanks, but please
try and refrain form saying anything that about me. Not my intensions
But thank you anyways.

Where did i get my desk?
I built it myself

Mr. Miyagi Comment
-how did you know it was me :p

And thanks for the comments

Logitech Z-2300

The bass is totally amazing for a ~$100 speaker system. 120W sub + 2x40W satellites = 200W total

Interesting, I was thinking about getting those I just didnt notice them with the face masks on. I was gonna buy those and a nice sound card, and I am a bass-o-holic so I think those will fit me well.

For the money, look at the Swan M10's.

For the money, look at the Swan M10's.

I haven't heard the M10's personally, but judging from the specs they simply don't have the same level of raw power that the Z-2300's have, particularly the bass. The Z-2300's are now around $80 on amazon so I'd say they're pretty much the best bang-for-buck 2.1 system around right now.

Check out my project log for project PrometheusCU if you'd like to see how this setup turns out.

Small, tiny desks... one thing I do not miss about dorm life. Looks like you made the most of it though.

Haaa thanks... Only slight problem is that I don't have much space for my books. But honestly the desk isn't bad at all. It's modular so I can take apart sections and rearrange them.

well I'm 20 and i just don't want people labeling me as a kid who lives off daddy
because thats not how it is. I work my freaken @$$ off and then blow my money
on computers, cars, and dates lol

What are the specs of the Hack Pro?

Since you're not using that 70-200 f/4L want to send it my way ;) I would take the speedlight too ;)

Anyways, Nice setup!

Anyways, Nice setup!

That's a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS, not the f/4 version. They may look similar but they're entirely different beasts.

Just three items:
1) How do you like the MX 5500 combo?
2) What is and where did you get that mousepad?
3) Very clean setup.

1) Its nice.
2) Ratpadz, of course!
3) Thanks :)

your pictures are so clear... what camera are you using?

Nikon D300 and Nikon 35-70mm f/2.8.

What are the specs of the Hack Pro?

Intel E8500 @ 4.25ghz, 8gb OCZ Sli RAM, XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog are the important pieces. A bunch of HDs, Sony DVDrw, Microsoft HD DVD ($30!), Antec Sonata III case.
