well ive been searching my craigslist with no luck of finding a Jerker. The Jerker was what I really wanted but I didn't know it was discontinued. Is the Fredrik really not worth getting?
 
just keep looking tons, sometimes u have to just search by "jerker desk" cause people don't put jerker in the page description or info, but u can tell from the pic ;)
 
or search for ikea desk and browse through the options til you see one. also, ikea workstation because as matrix said some don't know the name of the desk

The shuttle is an excellent (affordable) small quiet home server, use it for web, FTP, and storage purposes. I will most likely be getting a second shuttle as I have already filled this up :). I wanted to get the network components up and running so that's why I don't have it fully populated yet but it will be in due time.
 
SORRY Forgot to check up on the thread! My chair is great, I love the thing I sleep in it most nights ;)

I just set my floor speakers on top of my desk they are my L and R speakers, I'm not sure if they should be farther apart or not.

your tower speakers look like they could use a bit more separation from each other and your center channel speaker there. other than that awesome setup!
 
been doing some rearranging in my room, i have 3 jerkers and 1 futon in it, plus 2 1/2 shelves. will post finished pics once i get my ergotron arms :)

Here's my university apartment for the next 8 months.

My 40" Samsung A550...no console gaming for me. Gonna hook it up to watch movies and such.

And yes, I understand 5.1 is a waste and I regret not getting the z-2300s, but room and comfort is what I prefer.
Wiring is also a mess but w/e, it takes up too much time to sort it out.

Wow didn't realize those cables looked so bad under the desk.. will defiantly have to fix that real soon.

I was going to get a fredrik until I happened upon my craigslist find. Maybe if you told us what area your in we could assist.

Columbus, Ohio. craigslist columbus, lol. but thanks for any help. And it doesnt even really have to be a Ikea desk, I just want something simple like the Jerker and Fredrik
 
yeah, i can still get a new Fredrik for $100, and the Ikea place in my state is on the way to my dads house (where im going on vacation in 2 week)

Only $85 shipped from Amazon last week, deal might still be on. So far pretty happy with it, feels good for typing and the mouse seems responsive enough for most games.
 
I just looked through every page since I lasted posted and that was page 14. I'm glad to see there are some people on here that are as OCD as I am. I'll be putting in some new parts next week as well as changing the setup around for the other computers. I'll post some new pics then.

So, how you like the setup? I see it has a clutch, how does the shifter work? Does it just go up and down or does it shift lake a real car, like it has to go through the gates? Lastly, how well do the pedals stay put?
 
The G25 can do either up/down, H-shifting, or flappy paddles. Wonderful, right?

I wish I was a bigger racing enthusiast. Then it'd be worth buying.
 
So I just moved from where there was an Ikea 15 min away to where there's no Ikea anywhere. I live down in the Dirty South LOL. Anyways I had a Frederik in my shopping cart and checked it out only to find that shipping is $287!!!!! WTF! The can't imagine it being that expensive to ship since all their stuff is packed like flat. Unless they are shipping from Sweden?
