where are all the wires?!?!?! i don't see anything coming out of the back of that computer! (i feel like it's an illusion)

i think it would look so much better with a wireless mouse. but still, i love the clean look!

It changes, I haven't been keeping track but it seems whenever I turn it on its a different color. Unfortunate that at the time I took the screen shot it was pink  Still pretty though ;)

Very nice Yelnats, you should buy the http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10128381 nickel plated version of that, and pop em under that shelf. That'd be hot.
There is a 4 ft fluorescent light under the bookshelf.

There are wires coming out of the back of everything except the keyboard. They are just hidden from view in the camera angle I chose.

Wireless mice that I've used have had a little lag. Are there any that are as fast as wired mice? Also, I don't really like dealing with batteries.

vroom_skies, pics of the underneath of the desk? looks like a jerker but none i've seen before :)

The Logitech G7 as well as most recent Logitech mice I've used (like my Mediaplay and MX900) have no noticeable wireless lag. The G7 has two swappable batteries, so running out of juice shouldn't be too much of a problem for you. The MX Revolution is also an excellent mouse and has a built-in battery with a charging base, but I've heard that it isn't great for gaming.

I've got a G7, and in comparison to my old MX1000 and older MX900, it totally owns. More comfortable, and INSTANTLY on when you move it around. There's no such thing as wireless "lag" with this mouse - it works perfectly right up until the battery dies. Battery life seems a bit short for me (only maybe 12-15 hours per charge) but it's got the nice spare battery and charger in the base station, so I'll take the switch-on-the-fly DPI settings and the shape like the good old MX-500 along with that lower battery life.

The MX Revolution is a sweet mouse too, but it's really kind of unwieldy for FPS gaming (my roomate bought one and I borrowed it to play with for a while). If you need lots of buttons though ... well it's got em!

Phimp, I like those (2) shiny black speakers you have there. Any info you can share about them if you haven't already? Thnx.

Slyr7.62, they are indeed the Insignia's as JamesL and GPUCommando pointed out.

I picked them up two days ago at my local best buy using this 10% off coupon (thanks to SJetski71) and making use of a $25 gift card I had laying around, so it only cost me about $60. They are amazing sounding, extremely impressed. Especially since I just have them connected to an old 2.1 setup.

Win.

I'm thinking once I get a new desk, get one of the dual LCD mounts from like geeks/ebay

TY Phimp, 5.1 Logitech Z-640's atm but unneeded -I'm aiming for "good 2.1 sound". Carbon Fiber(cone) :D. Gonna bookmark 'em. Thnx for the input.

Edit for Blaze: SOYO LCD's?, cool, my dad has a [edit:] Soyo KT-400 Dragon Ultra Platinum Edition mobo, I didn't know soyo made LCD's. btw nice keyboard :D (IBM?....personally I know like the big spacing between keys. /OT)

Yep, $300 at Officemax for 24" MVA panels... they're the best budget 24" you can find :D

And, Model-M from 1994 w/ keys dyed black... sorta like the "DAS Keyboard"

Blazestorn, what kind of speakers are those?

KRK V4's, Ran about $300 each when they came out, but they're discontinued (Atleast those exact models)... logos are right on the front...

The LCDs are nice but some of the new ones have crappy TN panels so u gotta watch out.

Oh and those Soyo mobos were nightmares. They work great at first and then die a slow death. I went through like 2 or 3. First the USB goes out then the IDE, then BAM its all over dead mobo.

My workspace. This is pretty clean for me. I'm messy for sure.

I think I'm going to sell off the LG for a pair of 20"ers. Still up in the air about that one.

Here is my current set up, I took off the stickers a couple of days ago too:

I can't get video to my second monitor, I think my second dvi port might be bad on my X1900XT, but I looked on the ATI/AMD site and they said that there is a problem connecting to TFT monitors that affects my graphics card, so I hope they come out with a fix.
