If upgrading from a mechanical hard disk, any brand/model SSD would do and you'll notice a big improvement...this one in particular probably rests under the 10th % on graph when it comes to SSD performance compared to the big boys. IOP's are not that great at all IMO

4KB Random Write22,951.48 IOPS

Stick with the root of ssd makers like Samsung, intel, sandisk, Adata, crucial, Kingston and few others. You do not want a re-branded ssd because then you don't really know what you are getting.
