So, I guess waiting again..... would be the best course to take as Z370 does not support 8 core I gather. And with next year's intel roadmap, it would be a good idea to wait then for Z390?

So, my question is what do you guys plan on doing? Buy Z390 and drop a 8700k or wait it out and see what intel will push out later? I know we can wait forever....

but do you guys think intel will push out newer cpu's by late 2018? Think I might roll with a Z390 mobo and 8700K. Should work well with my 1080 Ti's. My 3770K, feels a little sluggish now, not bad, but I am itching to upgrade

If you're going dual cards (especially on the high end), look at the X299 platform. Should be good for the next round of chips also.

I don't know that Z370 won't support 8 core, but with Intel you never know.
