Ok, i'm gonna put down what i want to use for next build, with some options, u can give your own opinions on what you like disregarding the other options, and i would like your honest opinion and feedback.

CPU: San Diego core AMD Athlon 64 3700+ (Gonna OC)
HSF: Thermalright XP-90c w/generic red LED fan or any fan you recommend, doesnt have to be LED (sry red is my favy color)
MoBo: DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-DR or MSI K8T Neo4 Plat/SLI (Gonna increase FSB on either one)
GPU:eVGA GF 6800 GT PCI-e (one for now) Gonna OC
GPU HSF: Zalman VF700-Cu
Memory: Corsair XMS PC4400 (DDR 550) (for that fsb baby :)).
PSU: Antec TruePower 2.0 550W
HDD: Seagate 250GB SATA 1.5 w/NCQ (do the nf4 chipsets support NCQ?)
Case: Xoxide Bio-X w/4 80mm Red LEDs
CD-ROM: 52x ASUS brand

Athlon 64's dont have a FSB and overclocking the HTT speed isn't going to improve performance. That Corsair PC4400 is a waste of money. The CPU speed is all that matters and you can overclock it without even changing the speed of the RAM at all.

Dont buy a SLI board unless your going to use it. The DFI Ultra-D is a better choice if your not planning to buy two 6800GT's.

Get a Thermalright XP-90 instead of the 90c. Its cheaper and the performance difference will be minor.

You'll get a healthy 1:1 OC with that RAM, but you might be better off running it at say 220mhz on a divider with tight 2-2-2 timings (those are the TCCD Corsair sticks right?).

He would be better of with OCZ PC3200 Platinum Rev2 which is on sale for $199 at Newegg if he wants overclocking RAM.
