Your Laptop Picture [H]ere (read first post for rules please)

The m51SN I bought is almost identical specs to this, but with a 15" instead. It's got a numpad too, which I enjoy.

I'll upload some pics later, I really like this thing :). But I might upgrade the CPU to a 8xxx or 9xxx series Core2, not sure yet though. It's ran all the games I normally play quite well. Might not even need to upgrade it.

I got one too, with a T9500 in it.

2.6ghz, 3gb ram, 9500M GS etc. Having the numpad is good stuff.

Radeon 7500 32mb

wow $100 for T-40 that seller must have no clue what an IBM is capable of. Nice find tho!

You could get $500 for that T40 on eBay; even more if it's in really good shape. Good to know if you ever need some quick cash. ;)

Yea the t40 was in absolutly mint shape , even still had the protective stickers over the little displays for the hd/wireless/battery etc , only thing i had to do is clean it from fingerprints on the screen an dust off the keyboard :)

I cant get over how great this thing is; you read about how small these things are, but until you hold one in your hand, you just can't appreciate it fully. :)

After seeing the laptops that Acee & Sobek owns, I had to get one. The G2K-A1 is the AMD/ATI version of those laptops. I'm currently playing COD4, Turok & Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Simply awesome. :D

haha nice buy there Johnny! You have purchased in laptop wise.. our BIG brother (G2)!! I just can't get enough of those red lines beside the keyboards.. so nice and sexy wish the G1 had them.

right now i'm tempted to buy a HP 2133... so sleek and sexy...... $580. Think its worth it?

How's the VIA CPU in that thing? Is it decently fast in Vista?

Its no speed demon, but its actually not that bad. I'm glad I didn't wait for a processor spec bump like everyone else; this does all I need and I get to enjoy it now.

The software install/update process took a little while, with multiple boot cycles, but its smooth sailing now.

I haven't poked around too much on it yet, but it looks like it comes with some version of MS Office 2007 (I am guessing a trial). It took about 3 seconds to open up MS Word, so basically just like my home computer. Though I have not yet installed Norton/Macafee/etc.

I still need to test its video playback, but its awesome for an office music player

Here is Mine. Cyberpower Xplorer X64-9520. Note the blue screen was caused by corrupt video driver. Fixed now though.

Went back to Lenovo site, and estimate how fast they cut off from the price tag I bought..

There will be TAX, plus fraction of environmental recycling fee (only for CA residence), that makes total extra approx. 120.00 USD... Just keep it in mind.

Well, does anyone wants to join Thinkpad Club?

* P.S. : I am not associate with Lenovo, whatsoever... I am just a happy customer, and want to share my delightful experience with this solid laptop.

The guy you're asking about has a T61P. (It kind of says it in the picture)

I really need to post new GOOD pics of my new Thinkpads...but the R60 is currently disassembled on my kitchen table.

In the mean time, some of my EEE (which I traded for the R60), and my T61P vs my old T60 (which is now my dad's)

It's a 240x. 500mhz, 128mb ram, 20gb hdd.
And yea, you did send me a pm, but I've already sold it :(

In it's place, I'm buying a T43.

A couple comments on the systems...
While the HP has a fingerprint reader, it doesn't actually authenticate in the BIOS, only the operating system. Count that as a negative for security.
The resolution differences are quite apparent, if not immediately by the start menu, by the System Properties window.
