  • 1998: Pentium 233 MMX
  • 1999: Pentium-II 400 Mhz
  • 2001: Athlon Thunderbird 1.2 Ghz

Intel 486
Intel Pentium 33mhz
Intel Pentium 90mhz
Intel Pentium III 700mhz
AMD Duron +1700
AMD Athlon +3000
AMD Athlon x2 +3800
Intel Core 2 Duo e6300
Intel Core 2 Duo e6850
Intel Core 2 Quad e9400
Intel Core i7 2700k

This is to the best of my knowledge without really thinking about it:

486 dx2 66mhz
Pentium MMX 233mhz
amd k62 366mhz @ 400mhz
AMD Duron 950mhz @ 1ghz
AMD Duron 1.3ghz @ 1.5GHZ (pretty sure this is the processor where i had use a pencil to reconnect the traces to unlock it)
Athlon XP mobile @ 2.4ghz if i remember right
AMD Opteron 144 @ 2.8ghz
Some form of a P4 3ghz (its in a used dell I bought about 4 years ago for my home office, don't really pay much attention to it.)
Intel Core2Duo E8400 @ stock (its a 4ghz capable processor, but i took it back to stock a couple of years ago, because i wanted to get a new HSF). Still haven't gotten one.

Seems like a short list, I would have thought it was a lot longer. I guess a lot of the stuff i remember was for other people though. One of these days I'll get a current generation processor, just seems like the stuff i have works for what i need it for.

Pentium D 940
Phenom x3 8600b
Core i7 940
Core i7 920
Phenom II x2 555
Athlon II x3 435
Sempron 145
Core 2 Duo E8400
Core 2 Duo E8600
Phenom II x4 965
Phenom II x4 955

Not too long a list for myself - most of my work is done at work :p

1. AMD K6 @ 300MHz -- Played StarCraft on this!
2. Intel Pentium II @ 200MHz -- Yeah, went backwards for a bit
3. AMD Athlon @ 1 GHz -- Hated this processor
4. AMD Athlon II X4 @ 2.6GHz -- Still chugging
5. Intel Core2Duo @ 2GHz -- MSI Laptop, and my favorite CPU thus far
6. Intel i3 @ 2.10GHz -- Dell laptop
7. Intel Atom @1.7GHz -- HP Mini, which I dislike. Up for sale btw :)
8. Intel i3 @ 3.06GHz -- For a gaming PC
9. Intel Pentium 4 @ 2.4GHz -- Going backwards again. Going to be a network appliance
10. Intel Pentium 4 @ 3.06GHz -- Another network appliance

Now if I were to add my work PCs to the list.....
..... Ok, I won't. That'd take forever!

This thread makes me feel really stupid. I can't remember anything back in 90's except for celeron 450MHz.

oh yeah, that celeron seems to be 300a by peeking at the previous post above me. It was a truly legendary chip and only chip that lived up to its OC hype. I can't even get my 2500K past 4.3GHz at a reasonable voltage (under 1.35v)

I actually edited my post in this thread earlier today and added the new CPU I bought which was an Intel Core i7 3930K.

Some of you guys go back a long way! I can't remember all all the computers in our household, but they started at a Commodore 64, 386, 486, and went up from there to various Pentiums until I started building my own...

P3 laptop of some sort in college
Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66 GHz dual core laptop

I built a couple computers in between there but only used them for a short while before giving them away.

first comp was an AMD 486-DX2-80,
Have had every iteration of AMD to the 1090T
Including the slot Athlon 600, durons, XP's, Athlons... in due of an upgrade to the 8320 soon
Haven't used the Trinity procs though considering a mini-ITX XBMC box
Favorite was the AMD Athlon XP 2500 Barton that could you could massively OC

Intel chips.. the awesome Celeron 300 that I got to 450
Then Intel Core2Duo 8500
And now an i3 3225 in my server
