Ok so here's new system specs:
-Biostar tforce 550 SE
-Athlon X2 3800+ (65W)
-2x Hitachi Dekstars 80gbs set to RAID 0

When I try to install Windows XP Home SP2 it goes through all the loading files and then says Setup is loading Windows(at the bottom there), screen goes black for a sec, then BSOD!
Here's what it says (abridged):
Problem...

If happens again follow these steps...

Check for viruses, remove new HDDs, check HDDs to make sure properly configured and terminated (what the heck does that mean?), run CHKDSK.

Technical Info:

*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF7C7A524, 0x0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Please help!

Did you hit F6 at the very beginning of the install and load the raid pre-install driver ?

you have to install the raid drivers and enable your raid array before you install windows , like Bill said hit F6 .

thanks guys yeah I had done all of that

I figured out what was wrong:
The RAID drivers on Biostar's website were bad, I went to nvidia and downloaded the corresponding drivers (note that they were exactly the same and everything) and it worked first time! Stupid Biostar and crappy drivers!

but thanks for the help regardless guys
