Hey guys, this happens in the most inconvientiant of times! it just sneaks up on me! doesnt matter what im doing and its realy pissing me off! Can any1 help me please! thanks!

Dude, that its one of the worms that exploits the svchost (sassy, welchia, etc etc). Stop dling mass pr0n and get yourself a virus scanner. It'll most likely pick up the type of worm it is (and its varient label should it have one) and so then all YOU have to do is 1. make sure the virus scanner fixes the problem automatically or 2. dl the patch to fix the svchost exploit that the worm is using (google the worm name and follow it by "patch" or "fix" and you should get your file).

It might not be a virus, but you definitely should do a virus scan first to be sure. Also, what's listed in your Event Viewer?

have to agree that it might not be a virus. are there any other problems with the machine that are unexplained. if so then look into virus activity. My machine does this as well every so often when rebooting. I just think its time to reformat on my machine..

How many svchost.exe processes do you have running at once in task manager (before and after the error)?

Windows is blinded by your gaudy desktop and now refuses to service you

Seriously, install AVG, run find virus. Rinse, repeat if necessary. You're a bold man doing file sharing without AVG. Those peer-to-peer apps are just cesspools of viral activity.

P2P software + no antivirus program = weird-ass Windows errors

I get that error too but not the bottom screen. Just the one that asks if I want to send the error report. I don't think it is a virus becuase mine only happens once in a while.

clicking on "click here" on the first window will give you the extra bottom window.

I'll give you my opinion once you tell me a good reason on why you dont have an Antivirus active (or even installed) on your pc....
