Hey, what's up with XFX telephone support? I've tried 'solidly' for two days to get customer service with first....an automated message saying they were closed for training (yesterday) and now T/S just closed today. Are they experiencing financial trouble or does this happen quite a bit with them?

supposedly they have horrible service, from all the reviews of the products reviews on newegg, and a simple google search, i hope not b/c i just recently purchased a vid card from them.

XFX has always been excellent for me. But I have always used their online support feature. I had 2 issues both times they were resolved in a very satisfactory manor.

I sold a guy my old XFX 4850 recently. He said it kept bluescreening on him so he called them, didnt have any problems. He sent it in, and 2 weeks later he had a new 5750. He was very happy about it. I have read about them not being so great lately, but he kept me in the loop on how it was going and I was quite impressed.

Keep trying.

make sure you check world holiday's. due to it being an international company and their customer support being in different area's they follow different holiday's though their email supports the quickest and best option, telephone support from any company is pretty hit or miss unless the supports lines are in India.

Problem required "human" interaction. Telephone support was not an option as most companies will not call any number too far outside their zip code. In the end I wound up calling and dealing with Newegg. It's so refreshing these days...to actually talk to a person. Customer service is becoming a lost art with companies like the egg, few and far.
