yup and they will keep playing the game as long as people keep buying them.. just how it works.. but 409 still isnt that bad.. i mean hell the GTX 285 still sells for 300+..

Guys, I LOVED my XFX 5870 video card, and I can assure you that you will love yours too.
It is an overclocking BEAST! Had it at 1Ghz core/1300 Mem easily! Cracked 20k 3d Vantage Performance marks by simply adding a cheap PPU.

I was so stupid to RMA mine to Newegg cos of the flickering. Instead of giving me replacement they refunded me! Then I had to wait WEEKS for the 5970 to come out to replace it. Oh well 5970 OTW. Hope it's a good one!
 
DAMN. I was reading the 5970 review when this came and went. :mad: Talk about irony... or a sign.

not bad for 725/1000 stock. Wait til they figure out how to flash the core clock limit to 1200 and write software that controls memory voltage upwards of 1.15v. Hopefully AB 1.5 will incorporate this.
