XFX 5770 artifacts/glitches with Windows 7 + Aero

Just installed a new XFX 5770.

Windows 7 64bit
Driver Packaging Version 8.681-091124a-092499C-ATI
Dell 3007WFP HC.

Looks like a bad refresh. Vertical lines quickly appear and dissapear as the window is being created/killed, also when restore and minimize. So basically when Aero is playing.

What to do?
 
Just replaced a 4870 that I had with the 5770 and also put the Dell 3007WFP-HC power+usb+dvi cables into one of those cable pipes 1/2" thick.
 
Have you tried running something like OCCT GPU test or FURMARK?
If you are getting artifacts in either, it might be time for an RMA or Return.
 
Sounds like an RMA, sorry to hear that. I installed an XFX 5770 recently, no problems.
 
OCCT doesn't work (maybe win7 64?) FURMARK is 100%.

It looks like a driver issue to me.
 
Check your monitor cable for bent pins. It's possible one of them bent when you plugged it back it. I had a similar issue with my 4870.
 
Ok, checked the cable, one pin is slightly lower than the rest. Also if I plug it into the other DVI output the problems disappears.
 
I think one of the pins is supposed to be lower than the rest. Since its works on the other DVI port, I think you found the problem!
