given microsofts history with dealing with constant attacks on their software. I certainly would not expect them to be anything but diligent, in its security;)

When are we supposed to know about this one way or the other according to your "sources"? What's the timeframe?

I know if XBL goes down I'll see complaining all over the Internet in fairly short order.

guys, he's right. Xbox Live was definitely hacked. I heard from someone who knows about computer security.

maybe never? i was told the reason that xbox live didnt go offline was because they would have it patched in 48 hours. so by tomorrow night it will be patched. does that mean a xbox update or a internal network update? im not sure, maybe both?

but if personal info was take they have to tell.

Hulu plus is coming tomorrow. :eek:
 
This could just be a security patch nothing more. hulu plus is a limited offer and they are putting protocols in place.

i do not know anyone who works at ms. do you really thing if xbox live got hacked ms would tell their employees? they are keeping it on the dl on a needs to know basis.

Wait - he had credibility to boot? No. He didn't. If he cannot tell us the soruce, but this is real...the source didn't want it public. If the source didn't want it public but was OK telling this guy, then they trusted him. And he violated that trust by making it public.

Or...he's spreading FUD - meaning it's false. No matter what, he has no credibility. He has no source. Were he a whistler blower, he'd have info.

Just so you know... you have lost all credibility by even insinuating you know the people responsible for this alleged attack. You will definitely be question by authorities if you turn out to be right(probably in the future too)

So now I'm just going to call shenanigans because nobody is that stupid to announce on the internet that they know somebody responsible for breaking several federal and state laws unless they are trolling.

i would just like to point out that i never claimed to know the people that did this. i never said anything like that, because i dont know them in the slightest.
