xbox computer case?

I have a regular xbox and a xbox 360 in which both are broken so i want to put a computer in one of them.... I am going to use a laptop hdd and dvd drive with this mobo..

My only concern is the power supply.. does anyone know where I could get a small one for cheap and still be able to power my system pretty good?? does anyone know of any xbox case mods for computer?? I cant find any on the net.. maybe im a terrible searcher. Can someone help me out please?

What kind of hardware are you looking to run? depending on power requirements you may be able to get aware with a PicoPSU.
 
i want that mobo that i linked to in the op, and a x2 4000+, 1 laptop hdd and 1 laptop dvd and maybe just maybe a 8600
 
There was an Xbox case mod a few years ago:

Note that Xbox case mod could barely fit in a mini-itx mobo let alone a mATX mobo. So your best bet if you still want that mATX mobo would be the Xbox 360 case. As shown in Gen.Ben's links, it's possible to fit in a mATX mobo.

As for the power supply question, dunno much about hec power supplies. So can't vouch for their quality. Without the 8600GT, a PICO PSU would work but make sure that you can find and buy a P4 power cable for the mobo:

You should check out xbox-scene. They have numerous examples of what your looking for. Picopsu "should" work for you as your not going to fit a monster system in that small of a case. You dont have a lot of room to work with so you may have to use the IGP, if your using the original xbox you only have 60-70 mm of height to play with.
 
My friend Scott put a mini-itx setup in an xbox case that he had lying around. You can get a mini-itx psu off of ebay for cheap. He also used a regular DVDRW and regular 3.5" HDD. His mini-itx PUS recently died and he is using a getto solution right now - micro-atx PSU is hooked up to the mobo and sits outside the case.
