x800xt pci-e or x850xt pci-e

i know this may seem like a stupid question but wich card is faster the x800xt or the x850xt because the x850xt is almost $100 cheaper than the older x800xt ($445 vs $530) so whats the deal??
 
X850 XT is the faster of the two. The X800 XT is that expensive because they weren't available in the volumes as the X850 and were subsequently more pricey.

Hehehe, do you mean the $415 one sold on the forums vs the $370 one with athe ATI4 on ebay? If so, you buahgt the one I wanted, so I baught the other :D
 
just read your last post, I guess we werent looking at the same card on ebay. I paid $270 + $15s/h for an X800XT w/ ATI4. You must have snagged that x850xt then, i PMed him last night with intrset to buy it, but when He said someone else got to ya, I knew there was no hope so I baught this. Hopefully with the ATI4 it will perform better. The x800xt is faster clock for clock than the x850xt, so as long as I can hit x850xt speeds, im in the money.
 
yea i bought it from quicksilverXP here on the forums it was a really good deal great seller too

yep, thats the one I was after...you beat me by a few mintes :p . Great deal, and yes, a great seller. I ended up getting a X800XT w/ a ATI Silencer 4. Probably for the better, since I can sell the ATI4 and get a Maze4.
