hi all, i have a logitech x530 speaker from the 5.1 system that emits a very weak or no sound when the rest of the system is blasting. I unassembled the speaker and saw no physical damage. I showed it to my father and he said the resistor may have gone.

i have some pictures showing the speaker,
i was just wondering if i could get that resistor at radioshack and what else i would need if that was the problem... thanks alot

You may be able to purchase the cap from radio shack, just remeber to match the values displayed on the cap or things may go sizzle  . Another place to try is www.newark.com, give them a call and they may be able to help.

Don't all Logitech X-530 systems have a two-year warranty?

Mine does (says so on the box). That is of course, assuming you don't take them apart. I'd have just called Logitech for an RMA. I don't think they've been making them for two years.
