X570 boards are required to meet a higher quality level for both power delivery and the new PCI-E standard. So about the only benefit is that you know it will support, for instance, a 3950x without the VRM's overheating.
That being said, most of the similar priced X470 boards also have adequate power delivery.
So there isn't much benefit, really. Just make sure the board you are looking at has the power delivery to support the CPU you are looking at and get whatever is the cheapest.
All of that being said, it is highly likely that X570 will be compatible with the 4000 series CPU's in another year as AMD has always said the AM4 socket would last at least until 2020. It's unlikely the older platforms will support the 4000 series given the higher quality required out of X570.
Really the only reason to buy the older platform boards at this point is if you aren't going to be running the 3000 series CPU's, and just want a solid board for the 1000/2000 series.
