x1950 problem

My new neo he has the required molex plug that the x1950 has

but the x1950 has an adapter that converts molex into the old 4 pin connecter

should i use the adapter or plug the card straight into the psu.

Straight into the PSU. The adapter is only needed if your power supply doens't have the neccessary plug for the video card.
