X-Fi Fatal1ty optical out problem

Anyone here use the optical spdif out of X-Fi Fatal1ty?
My digital receiver seems that he doesn't seen nothing in the optical cable. I tryed to connect to other sound card with the same optical cable and it worked but with the X-Fi Fatal1ty there's no sound.
Any sugestions?

have you enabled digital audio? double click your speaker icon on the taskbar.. and click advanced.. make sure that enable digital i/o is checked. Does anything else work on your livedrive bay? make sure you are seeing the red optical light coming out of the cable.

I see the red light coming out from the TOSLINK connector.
The headphone jack in the livedrive bay is working. But the coax spdif of the livedrive is also not working like the optical spdif.
Anyway i'll try what you are saying....

I solved the problem.
The problem was:
First i had a x-fi extreme soundcard in my computer and then i removed it and replaced with the Fatal1ty one. I think that because the extreme doesn't have a drive i/o the software for the fatal1ty wasn't recognizing the drive i/o. After some deep registry cleaning up and hard disk cleanning and then installing again the software for the fatal1ty the problem vanished.
Anyway i think that Creative should fixed the removing software to totally clean up of the drivers, registry key, etc. With this Creative can avoid some boring and maybe some stupid support to the users.
