www.hardfolding.com

I'm going to address 2 of these points.

I couldn't agree more.

There needs to be a change in the way this forum is moderated. As it is, Despotism would describe it well.
If any of you have a problem with the way this forum is moderated, you are always welcome to contact an admin.

In none of the threads that I've seen about hardfolding.com was there any name calling or just in general childish behavior. They were what I call a regular discussion. Yet in the end they disappear and are removed as if it turned into an all out flame war of epic proportions.
Calling out the site admin and telling him that his site looks like:

like I said... geocities circa 1995, lmfao

maybe even" aol members page" caliber like page viewed through netscape 2.0 !!!!

I may consider this kind of comment childish.

Not to mention that I warned about this type of behavior 2 months ago...

Whoa, slow down a minute. Let's not jump to generalizations, stereotyping, and mudslinging. Leave that for the AMD/Intel and nVidia/ATi subforums.

Remember, a little sugar helps people be more interested in giving you a nice (read: non-banning) response.

First off I didn't change it because there was anything wrong with it, I changed it to appease the very *few* malcontents, those who have *nothing* better to do then troll and bash, which is obviously what your plan is(you've proved that time and time again).

Second if you find it so distasteful to be here why are you still here, I mean from your fist post all you have done is bash?

snip, not going to get into it with you, it's just not worth it.

ZROUT- Please explain how your last few posts fall under this premise.

Once again, explain how that helps what we are all trying to do here.

Answer a question.

Glad to see that this thread hasn't degenerated yet.
Well, so much for that. ZROUT, if you don't like the website, you're welcome to start your own. If it gets good enough, maybe it'll be made hardfolding.com. If you're not willing to put the amount of time and energy into a website that King_N has, then I guess that's why he's the webmaster and you're the flamebait.

No more need be said. The easiest way not to have these discussions is to pick another stats site and use that rather than complain about HF.

Ding. Ding. Ding. Great words unhappy_mage. It's certainly my philosophy.

Maybe someday we can have a mature thread about hardfolding , untill then-

I don't mind open discussion about the team, HF.com, projects and the like, but rude and inconsiderate posts will be deleted everytime. Some feel that a heated discussion is the only way to effect change. You're wrong. Please refrain from posts of that nature.

Let's cool things down with some flashcards (points for IDing movie quote). Thanks for cooling things off, Dr. K.

With regards to the site, is there a designated place for feedback/suggestions/wishlist for hardfolding.com, or do we just PM/email King_N about it?

Your best route would be the latter. I know he lurks, but often times it might take a few extra days via PM's. He provides his email address on the webpage, so I would suggest shooting him a message that way.

King_N FTW!

Thank you good Doctor... :D

Sorry that I missed all the drama. Seems to have calmed down now.

Perhaps this adult discussion can continue. :)

I have e-mailed King_N a number of times and he has always just plain done as requested or e-mailed back, either way way responded very quickly to the e-mail.

There seems to me a conflict of styles as to why some like the HF and some dont.
King_N does all of the old fashioned way of HTML instead of the way things usually done nowadays.
Most sites today use CSS to handle the look and feel of thier site which can be switched around very easily, you can even have several CSS sheets that the end user can choose frome to suite thier own tastes. The older way is more difficult to change, much more time intensive. That is truly one bad ass site if you knew what had to be done to get it there.

Well anyway I like it......old school is cool!

Heh, sorry but being as how it was posted by "DR_K13" I almost thought that was the same "cough" you get when the Dr is checking you for a hernia ;) :D

Who ever earlier up said it took a little bit to feel their way through the new layout, I agree with, but like they said, once I did, I like it!

I used to hit it up once a week, if that, but I've been hitting her up once or twice a day now. That'll ramp up the higher of a rank I get as well, not too concerned with how many skulls or 200ppd people I can pass at the moment, but when I get in to the top 500ish range or so I'll be paying more attention. I remember when I had just 3k points and was looking forward to 5k, then 10k.. mwahahahaha

Anyone able to direct me how to get to the list of [H] members though? I noticed my team rank was 786, pulled up what I thought was our team list, and noticed it was the overall F@H list, not our Team 33 list. Just sort of wanted to look around and see who my competition is / will be :D

edit: er.. maybe I shouldn't of said 'hit'

This page is the one you're looking for... to get there, select the following options:

Project Stats -> Folding@Home, then select the link for [H]ardOCP, on the [H] team stats page select Member Info -> Member List :D
