Just as the title states, looking for a Windows 11 pro key (and a 5090 that's not four grand - if you happen to have one lying around).

Thank you,

Please don't buy a key from anyone. It takes less time to simply google this, search the forum, and use any free method. You can use massgrave in less than 30 seconds to activate Windows 11 and never buy a key again.
Well color me clueless. I figured I'd at least need a base key. Appreciate you all pointing me in this direction - I'll try this this evening and go from there!

Don't feel too bad, I didn't know about massgrave until I saw replies to my antiquated method.

I'm a privacy freak..and once I run the shell script and register win 11 to a system I always do a wipe and reinstall
I know running the script is safe but for my piece of ( paranoid ) mind it just feels better doing it and is just an extra 10-15 min work

I keep getting a message from my antivirus saying unsafe download or site and will not execute in powershell

Those old anti viruses tend to get triggered really easily and have lots of false positives. People make their own batch scripts like gamers nexus, had Norton trigger just because of it, since the AVs assume that people using them don't use that stuff. It is most likely safe, just the AV's fault.

As always though; to quote "Why choose Debian?"
"The safest computer is the one that is never turned on"

You do not need a key to install Windows 11 if you're using a legitimate Microsoft Image. If it refuses I would not use that image and look for a different image.

DLed the Win 11.
It requests key before running set up
Use the W11 media creation tool to create a bootable USB.
Boot from the flash drive and start setup.
During setup, when prompted for a product key, click "I don't have a product key" and continue the setup process.
If you want to create a local account instead of logging in with a Microsoft account, use the method here.
Once setup is complete and you are in Windows, use https://massgrave.dev to activate Windows.

Or if you are using massgrave anyways just install Win 11 Pro minimum and do a domain join instead and create local account and done.

Rufus is your friend you can create a bootable USB that can bypass all the Win 11 HW requirements / TPM / Secureboot etc AND create local user account. All in one shot.

You'll still need a key, but if you have Win 10 already it will carry over to 11. Or google massgrave.

Like. Wipe the drive? Just got confused on the wipe part as wouldn't you need to do again if you wipe?

nope
Once they key is registered with M$ is forever regardless of number of reinstalls on same pc

Stacksocial has 11 pro for $10, for those looking for an upgrade over home. That's as cheap as you're going to find unless you massgrave it. I got one, got the email and the code pretty quickly. I want pro on my media "server" for remote desktop access

Please stop shilling these cheap grey market key sellers... those do not make you legit.
I once heard it explained this way. If you buy a discount key you are not supporting Microsoft, you are paying for someone to pirate it for you which is super easy, too easy to not do it yourself. Support the devs by buying the key from MS or use get it yourself. If you are buying it because doing it yourself is too hard you are doing it wrong. If you are buying it because you don't want to pirate you are doing it wrong.

Never buy a discounted key.

What is nice about having a cheap purchase option available when you have massgrave?
Just throwing the option out there for people that care. The deal was emailed to me, don't personally know shit about Groupon but I sent this deal to some friends who thought it was cheap enough to just have a key on-hand even though they don't plan to use it themselves. Personally I'm with you. We all use the same tool. I don't even main Win11, I ran it in a VM for a couple years then I installed it on a secondary desktop. I main Linux on my laptop and both desktops. Main desktop and the laptop have Win10 as the other OS, and they're gonna stay on Win10.
