Dude go to jet.com use the code "20now" get the 299$ zotac card for like 250$ or less and get a new card.

I was in the same boat as the OP and just ended up getting the Zotac card. Can't beat the bang for the buck for $250 for a new card.

Also SAVE20 may not work anymore, but ANDROID20 does.

edit: This Asus card also has a $20 rebate that might work if you jump through the hoops properly.

The downsides for this card are the fact that it's white, and it's a blower design. This might turn people off, but it's still a new 970 with warranty...
