WTB: C2D CPU & DDR2 ram for laptop

I have a Lenovo z61t, and would like to upgrade to 64bit Windows7, but unfortunately, i cheaped out when i was configuring it and only got a Core Duo (Yonah) T2400 (FFFFFFFFFFffuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!)

I'm looking for a Core 2 Duo (Merom), socket M, 667Mhz bus.

I can use a T5500, T5600, T7200, or a T7400 C2D. Please let me know what you have and how much you're looking to get for the CPU.

I'm also looking for a 4GB kit of ram for the lappy... It needs to be 2 sticks of matched PC2-5300 SODIMM DDR2. Again, let me know what you have, and how much you're looking for.

I'm sorry to report, but the 945gm chipset inside that lappy will not be able to use more than ~3GB of RAM, becaues of a accute lack of memory remapping

Incorrect. 4GB will work, presuming 64-bit OS obviously. Otherwise standard 3.xx viewable applies.

It will WORK...

but you cannot use beyond some 3.xx GB of ram, because there is NO memory remapping feature in the Lakeport series of chipsets.

Windows Vista SP1 and above will report 4GB in the system... but will not be able to use it.
