I don't seem to be able to find anywhere. It is out of stock wherever I check. I will buy a used one if it is in near new condition.

If you just need the 11x17" feature of this unit, there's a few different models of these in the CDW outlet:
https://www.cdw.com/product/brother-mfcj5330dw-aio-inkjet-print/6141003?pfm=srh
https://www.cdw.com/product/brother-mfcj5330dw-aio-inkjet-print/6143445?pfm=srh
https://www.cdw.com/product/brother-inkvestment-aio-printer-bst/6133212?pfm=srh
https://www.cdw.com/product/brother-inkvestment-aio-printer-bst/6136463?pfm=srh

Look at the condition indicator as these are typically returns. And call CDW to place the order as online ordering from the outlet can be hit or miss. Hope this helps!

Yes, I'm after the 11x17" feature but I specifically want the
MFC-J6945DW

as it is the one that got the best reviews. I can't even find it in ebay. Thanks.

Brother designs their various models similarly so the software and features and design are exactly the same between the lower models in a series and the upper end ones. We've got over 20 different brother devices and as long as one in the series is good, the entire series is. (y) Good luck in your search! :)

Well, since you are quite the expert, tell me which model is the closest to MFC-J6945DW and what it will exactly lack compared to it so that I can decide whether I should buy it or not. Thanks.

Why not compare for yourself?

https://www.brother-usa.com/products/mfcj5330dw#specification - lacks nfc and duplex scanning from the adf. Only one paper tray. Marginally slower printing

The white machines include more ink than the starter one found with the black machines.

cdw.com has got bad reviews. I gave up. The MFC-J6945DW is no where to be found. I will get the
HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer
instead. It doesn't have duplex scanning and there is no embedded web server, but it is fine. Thanks to everybody who helped.

CDW is typically b2b so they don't hand hold consumers like best buy. The savings are worth it if you can stomach the effort:

If you're going to sacrifice those features you originally wanted, I would strongly recommend staying with a Brother model. The newest HP products are cheap junk compared to the normal HP enterprise stuff of even a few years ago. No doubt these cost cuttings were to compete with Brother. Good luck and I hope you get what you need. :)

Well, the officejet pro 7740 is not a recent model and it is got good reviews everywhere I look. I think it is 4 years old and I'm fine with that.

Should be pretty decent then. I noticed a couple of years ago at staples (last time I looked at these things) that the HP ones where really 'consumery' and got rid of their robustness on their entry level lines, renaming their 'good' stuff to 'HP Enterprise'. 11x17" is a tough format to find anything really great unfortunately.
