WTB: AthlonXP 3200+ Socket A

Trying to restore a spare Compaq I had lying around, and other than a new harddrive and GPU, I'd like to replace the CPU as well.

Heatware is under SPARTAN VI 24-0-0. eBay is under spartanxba.

I have a Desktop Barton 2500 that runs at 3200 speeds at stock vcore. As long as you can set the fsb to 200 from the 2500's 166 it should work. It's never needed additional vcore to run that way. LMK if interested. I could let it go for $20 shipped to the US.

Yeah, unfortunately I'd need a new motherboard, or perhaps some sort of software that would allow me to OC in Windows. The Asus A7NX8 or whatever is in the Compaq barely has any tweakable bios features. Basically monitor temps, select boot order and... that's it.

Unless you happen to have an NF7-S lying around too!
