Much much better options avaliable now unless you have a very specific need. The new 40" 5k2k from Samsung comes to mind..

I know but I'm not going OLED. I was looking at U4025QW but the price I could find was $950. This is strictly for work and movies. I do like that white Alienware design a lot though.
 
I love mine, would sell, but dont have the box and wouldnt shipping be a big cost ?
 
I'm in Tampa Bay. These sell $300 locally on FB - had 2 on FB but was busy working and couldn't pick it up. They sell $450/$500 and that is from a year ago.

Your best bet is ebay. There is one guy from Canada, selling U4025QW every 4 weeks. I'm not sure they're refurbs or how he does it but ask no questions, hear no lies. There was also a listing a week ago for $920, store from FL, tiny stand scratches, full warranty. You need to have a browser with ebay search open and keep refreshing and be quick. You'd surprised what great deals you can get. I also have a local guy with U4021QW for $800 and U4025QW for $1200. I just didn't feel it was right to spend this much on a monitor. I prefer 110 PPI. 140 PPI looks good and but too small for me.

OK used ones makes sense. Still a pretty good deal. As far as PPI, I think most people use scaling above 110ish.

Not really used ones. Full warranty so no biggie unless you want a brand new. Yep, you have to scale to 125% in Windows.
