Hi everyone,
I would like to buy 2 Bitcoin at market rate to use for in game blockchain coming up. I could meet you anywhere in Bay Area and pay you cash. Let me know if you have any question.

Thanks

They design the game base on block chain and you can purchase coin to customize your character. The game I'm talking about called Beyond the Void.

and you do relise 2 btc is $1800+? seems like alot to spend on a game

yea thats alot of cash to have to try to exchange in person lol i think coinbase would be much safer i have used the site a ton in the last couple years to buy or sell btc i mined.

2 bit coin for cash ?

Wouldnt it be better to make an account and just buy 2 btc, saves the need to walk about with lots of cash to meet strangers and the ever present threat of being ripped off and possibly the involvement of guns.

2btc is roughly £1500, thats alot of cash to meet a stranger with.

Nah, it's actually kinda cool you want to buy locally. Try and keep money like that in the area to help out your community / local businesses. No, seriously.

You can always meet at your local police dept and make the exchange out front and sometimes in the lobby. Many police stations offer safe areas for online buying / selling.

Not exactly fool-proof. Most of the people who meet are international bike messengers who quit delivering Jimmy John's and started delivering through a series of human proxies on begalf of some Eastern European country.

Both as someone who has bough and sold a generous amount of BTC on LBC (lLocal Bit Coin) in cash, through Bank Order, had invested plenty in exchanges and just likes to keep up on it I assure there will always be of ways to pull one over one someone who is unfamiliar with how block chain technology works.Hell you could made to feel rushed, get put outside their comfort zone and bring it upon yourself when you skip or hold firm on some basic safety measures.

He could be shown falsified information on BlockChain.info and not know how to check it against it himself (or worse yes a MITM) himself, he could not understand the differences between a payment being relayed and confirmed(or confirmed an insufficient qty of times), or that the day where another big double-sends attack becomes goes public for however short a period of time he gets caught up in it now, or in the future because he was careless.. Double sends aren't as rare as you'd . Sure, to manipulate the ledger you need 50-54% of the networks power but double-spending on an exchange is possible because they make assumptions and calculations about the most arcane metadata and take a calculated risk. Perfect adequate system if the holes are small, they get piugged quickly, and the exchanges continuance to handle it as an operational expense.

In that case, he could send the same transaction to his own exchange account, re transter if and leave the OP SoL later.

If you really need 2 BTC I 'll do it for 10% over Coinbases average's but unless I can find something more convenient than a MO

My advice iis this:

Find an ATM with a fair rate (<1.5-5.0%)

OR

Open up a coinbase account, provide them all of their necessary KYK stuff and when that's all covered link your bank account, wait for the two random deposited to register in your BC, inter them, and va la. You can transfer 1000-2000 USD Bank-BANK. Bank -> BTC incurs additional fees and gives the a higher exchange rate not to mention you only get what you bought at the time of initiating the payment - meaning - if it drops in value you get less then you paid for originally.

If Coinbase doesn't t have a Bank-Bank option (where you can buy BTC from your "USD" wallet), GDAX is the sister company to Coinbase that service as their exchange and should have no such limitation although you will be required to ;transfer your USD wallet funds sinto GDAX , make your own BTC order (slightly below market asking but not enough so that it stands to settle there), and then cash out and transfer it to MyCelium, Electrum, or what have you. I'd recommend electrum. Make the authentication completely different from what you've used before and print/write out the lengthy mnemonic and store it in a safe place.

If you have any more exact questions let me know. I like to spend BTC wherever I can.
