Building a computer for my brother out of my old system. I need a decent video card for around $100 bucks, hoping to get an 8 series or 9 series nvidia or something equivalent.
 
please only offer up cards you can actually sell me, that's 3 times I've had it happen.
 
I think what he meant is that you can do better than an 8 or 9 series card for around 100. I picked up a 4870 Dark Knight for $120 3 weeks ago. The difference between a 9 series card and a 4870 is significant.
 
You're right - I was a little removed from the scene and seem to have not noticed the recent changes. I'm just waiting on some decent offers (of which I can actually purchase said goods). But no, I've had 3 people offer me up cards, and when I was confirming pay pal addresses they all decided they didn't want to sell them.
