Was on from 10pm Cst last night till about 2am haven't been on today at all until now when I go it (11pm cst)

I'm an Orc Rogue mining/encanting.

Edit: FYI they ruled against my gamename, so I'll be changing it to: (wow I don't know, Turdstick ruled. I'm so depressed now.) I'll just be boring and make it Grimmda. :(

get something useful, a rogue doesnt really need to mine, like me, Im a skinner/leatherworker person
 
If you enchant, do tailoring alongside. Tailoring doesn't require a gathering profession, and can make lots of greens to disenchant.
Good jobs for a rogue -
Mining/Engineering
Herbalism/Alchemy
Skinning/Leatherworking

Take off Ednahu, I got bored of it after lvl 10, now loving my (Tauren again) Shaman, Creslo, lvl 13 right now, and herbalist/alchemist of course.

I dont think it really matters on what profession you take. Some combos go good with others, but tailoring, herbalism, enchanting and mining all dont really require a second profession to use. And as far as professions for each class, it dosnt matter. We have every profession in the guild, if you need armor a guildy can make it for you. Pick whatever you want to.

Herbalism and mining (as well as skinning) are gathering professions, so those are almost useless without their appropriate consuming professions.

Enchanting and tailoring are both consuming professions. Enchanting consumes items, and tailoring consumes cloth. However, cloth is found on humanoid mobs and thus does not need a gathering profession. Even if you can't wear cloth, it is good to do tailoring/enchanting as tailoring can make large amounts of green items to disenchant, without having to have a profession to gather all the cloth.
 
I just started a dwarve hunter (for fun) he's lvl 6, what do you think are some good professionas for him, apart form skinning/leatherworking?

Well, apart from not joining the guild with him and converting to the dark side ;), you can choose mining/engineering to make some fun products.

I would have joined, but stormscale seems like such a low-pop server.

I might make one now anyways, it would just be a pain to have to go through the whole lvl process again.

Where is the guild primarily located?

Edit: SO wait, what server is the guild on? Are you hoard or alliance primarily? Where is your main area? (what city?)

Ya... Im on the character creation screen, and waiting for answes

We are Horde on Stormscale. I don't think there is any "needed" characters per se, as everyone kind of plays what class they prefer. One of the benefits I find in Stormscale is that even though it is a low pop server, the ratio of Horde to Alliance is not that bad. I believe wowrealms.com lists it as 1:1.2 or so.

Hmm...maybe I should make a new alt to counter some of the burn-out. I could be a rogue for ganking Allian...errrr....stealth abilties. ;) :p

TB is the shittiest starting place ever. WHy do they have to make it sooooo large?? God damn they should give us liek golf carts or something to get around it.

I think he means Mulgore.

Yeah, Mulgore is pretty bad. That's why I don't make Tauren anymore. That place is around 2x the size of the other starting areas, and the only graveyard is near the south end.

I don't know where the graveyard is there, since I quit dying while I'm levelling up :)

Look on the bright side... you get to leave Mulgore and go quest in the Barrens soon. I'm so tired of running around the Barrens.

Heh no, not trying to. I knew I wanted to try mining for my first time. On my other server (Dragonblight) I heard a guy making some valid arguments for how much money you make especially early on with that profession. Now I don't remember what they were but it was enough to make me want to try it. Now maybe I need to couple that with something else to help facilitate the money but anyways.

I'm not worried about having a profession that I can make any use of. I started out (on Dragonbligh) with my main that was a NE Hunter with Skinning/Leather because I thought, "Gee I can use the leather" well yeah that's pretty true as I was able to make most of my armor but there was LOTS of other guys out there that could have made it for me in the guild so whoopie!

So I want my professions to help suppliment my income So maybe encanting isn't the best for me, Maybe I should switch to Tailoring... and keep my mining. Thoughts?
 
The barrens suck too. Unless you're a Hunter, Shaman, or another class that get a boost in speed at lvl 20 it really blows.

Yeah. On my highest level Horde alt (17), it's on a PvE server, so I can also go into Ashenvale to grind.
 
Well I threw together a quick concept banner for the [H]ard|OCP guild. So here it is, and let me know what you guys think.

I wasn't too sure about the rising sun symbol, as I used the pic of seleste in Mauradon as a template to work off of. :p
 
EDIT : Im an asshat, need to read more carefully

Ya I know the undead and the trolls are not in the pic, sorry guys. If I find suitable images of them I will edit them in to.

EDIT: Found a troll shamen and undead mage, which I will edit in tommorow or something. At least that way we have all the Horde races in the banner.
