Im not sure about the number of members in the guild.
Anyone really just post your name in-game and we will invite you to join.
Stormscale is correct.
And yes Stormscale is a PvP server.
 
there's like 55 characters in the guild, I think around 25 members. Maybe more. It's one of the things I'm working on :)

Just about anyone in the guild can invite (the promotions are given every 10 levels).

I'm the guildstarter.

I've considered registering for our own website/domain. Depends on how much interest we keep getting in the Guild, whether or not I thought it would be used enough to justify it, and if I can even afford it :p

we had a few people like tha tin the guild. Everyone who's made the switch has all but stopped playing their alts (former mains). :p
 
WHy the hell can't we chose a server we want to be transfered too? They did that in SWG

You can, but they have been disabled temporarily. They are opening back up on May 9th.

You cant chose a server to transfer too can you ? I thought there was one server you could transfer too, based on the server you are currently on. Hell if we could chose I would transfer my 55 hunter to stormscale in a second.

Exactly. I think it was the Stormreaver folks that were able to transfer to Stormscale. Hell, if I could have, I'd have transferred my Shaman over instead of starting from scratch.

Not a chance. Bliz should have done something about that WAY before now. The only consolation is that Stormscale isn't MASSIVELY outnumbering the Horde. I think last ratio I saw was 1.5:1 Alliance-to-Horde. I don't think I'd be playing long on a server where it was 3:1 or higher. It would be interesting to look at the stats during the transfers to see how many were Horde vs Alliance to determine if there was any Horde exodus due to Alliance overpopulation or not. Either way, they have to know the problem exists, but they continually do nothing about it.

What are they supposed to do? More people chose Alliance than Horde, not Blizzard's fault. Horde already have one of the most power PvP classes(Shammys), so I don't see what the complaining is about.

If that's the case, then why do you find so few Shammys around compared with Hunters/Rogues/Pallys? Anyway, if you wanted to base your decision on class, the Paladin overpowers the Shammy - giving Alliance the most powerful PvP class.

What are they supposed to do? Certainly not ignore the problem. I'm sure with the creative minds they have, they could have come up with something - combat multipliers based on server ratios, increased experience leading to faster leveling for the underdogs, Alt limits, etc. But by chosing to ignore it, it did become Blizzard's fault.

I don't think Paladin are the most Powerful PvP charatcers. They actually do crap damage but can live forever, because Pallys have the "GOD" bubble then lay on a "Lay of hands" which heals full health. But I've head pallys are pretty crappy and broing to play. Most people play becaue of how cool or good they are in other fantasy games. Pallys are your devinsive while Shammy are Offensive.

Most reason chose Alliance is becasue of the "good" guy "Bad" guy thing. Also Allaiince are more appealing to the eye. And Alliance Major cities I think are way nicer and appelaing.

ALso Shammy are poewerfull becasue Alliance out number Horde on almost every server pretty bad, and there for should have a powerfull class to fight Alliance.

First: Which race/class would be the best. I am a total n00b to WoW (like 15 days), and so far all I have is a level 18 human warrior (I figured I couldn't go wrong with that) on Kilrogg. What are the differences, if any, between alliance & horde? (i.e. different starting profs. etc) Which classes have you guys found to be more entertaining? I have heard some good things about rouges, are they very easy to play? Or should I just go with an orc warrior?
Second: What is required of members? I also have a CS:S addiction, as well as my real life to deal with :D , so I don't know how much time I can put in. I will, however, try to do the best I can when I can find the time (usually about 5-10 hours a week).

1 - Requirements: You must be on Stormscale server :p That's it.

2 - Nothing really different other than locations and the absence of a pally and addition of the Shaman.

3 - There isn't anything we really "need" so just try and pick something that you enjoy :)

4 - My main is a 48 Rogue and I love her.

I have a problem here, Just now, I had to uninstall the game, because anytime the new patch (1.4.2 or something) would try to install, the oatch thing would crash, and I wasnt able to login.

Then, when I tried to install it again, disk one goes by smoothly, but it crashes on disk 2 :(

Why oh why did I have to get the goddamn copy, where the second disk is screwed up!?!?!

NVMnd, the game is installing now, disk 2 is taking way to long (again) but its moving.

Going to be done in about 2 hours probably, goddamn whats wrong with disk 2???

be careful, I started with a tauren shaman, but the beginning area was such a pain in the ass to go around in (way to large) so I just go pissed of.
