WoW [H]ard Guild

I've seen a couple HardOCP folks running around on Stormscale. My guild just recently moved over from Stormreaver.
 
I think I'm going to give my main character a break tonight. He's endured enough abuse today (You try being a level 11 Night Elf Hunter running around Thunder Bluff with no weapons or armor). Is anybody a troll? I'm thinking of being one of them, but would prefer to be able to hop right in with a few people and start leveling up.

Sweet deal. Myself and another Member just made our Alts shortly ago (we're only lvl 2 or now I think). So you could easily quest with us if you happened to be Orc. Otherwise we'd meet up when the time comes ;)

There was a problem when creating a new character, if your name was taking, it would not tell you, and would not create a character and not tell you the name was taken.

So the blizzard devs, in all there wisdom .. fixed this ... but at the same time broke it much much worse. If you create a character with a name that is taken ... you can logon as that character if the oriinal character is not online. However if the person who originally had that name tries to logon ... they will not be allowed. So multiple people can create characters with the same name, but only one person can actually log into the game at one time.

You would think they would put that test realm to use, and actually test theese patches, it just seems so common sence ... and I wrong ?

I was under the impression it is better to preempt problems rather then fly by the seat of your pants.
 
i have to pick my case up from my dad's house(i live in an apartment, had to do some modding on it), but once i get it i'll be building my new rig and installing this game. i've had it for like 1-2 weeks and it's just sitting here tempting me haha. anyway i'm curious as to how the servers are divided, do they go by regions by country(ie: like i live in minnesota so there is a server for this region). i'll go double check the wow page, but i was just wondering. also was seeing if there are any other people in my area that play(in the guild or otherwise).

That other would be me. :) Anyway, you could also meet up with us if you were a troll. Trolls and Orcs both start at The Den. (My main is a troll.)

considering the amount of players across all realms, it's not completely out of the question. And to play devil's advocate here, do any of us know how long it takes to accomplish this? I didn't think so.
 
Its the definition of Irony tho ... is it an April fool or something ?

Would they really be that stupid to do this ?
 
Sadly I have no idea, and with everyone so pissed about the servers being down anyway..I'd think they wouldn't want to play with them by telling them they are down even longer. An April fool's joke would be logging in and everyone is a gnome.

I hope not. That is means they come back up at around 9AM Eastern. That wouldn't give me much time to play before my driving test tomorrow.

Cool. Just to give you an idea when I'm on, it's usually sometime between 8pm-midnight eastern time on the weeknights, although not necessarily all four hours (i can be off and on). Looking forward to it :cool:

What race is your warrior? The one I started for this guild is a tauren.
 
Thanks for the invite to the guild last night:D Since I just started my char on this server a couple nights ago I'm still pretty low level tho. Currently a lvl 6 warlock undead. Being a warrior and all, I was very self concious about using a dagger.
You know how thoose Orc women are, ... they judge you by the size of your sword.

Blech, I found that troll shaman I made to be very boring. I'm gonna make a Tauren Warrior and go pure tank later tonight. I just which you guys were alliance. I have one hell of a weird hunter I love showing off. Armor from the waist up is extremly good for my level, everything below the belt is cheap crap. (that sounded wrong). Equal experience in bows, crossbows, and guns, daggers, and staves. My melee weapon in a sight to behold though. I'd like to see another level 18 hunter running arond with a Scythe Axe. It's a massive, slow two-handed battle axe half as long as I am. Does a nice 15dps.

neat :cool: I didn't realize these sorts of pages existed for WoW guilds. I don't see any info if I click on any of our names though. Is there supposed to be some sort of profile that comes up or something? That would be cool if it showed what our toons look like with stat listings.
