I just received two really big GPU2 WUs worth 1888 points each. It's going to take my little 9600GSOs about 15 hours each to complete. Are these fairly new projects or have they been around for awhile? I've never saw anything like these the last time I folded with GPU2.

Projects: 5913 and 5914

youll see them on and off, not so much anymore tho

huh... lucky you. Mine were not worth that much, and took 12 hours.

Annoying little things we cannot control :).

Yeah those have been around for a while, I haven't seen one in ages though. Output was fairly average though, so as long as it makes deadlines it's not a big problem.

haha, I've had a few of those, it takes a 9500GT about 15-17 hours to finish one.

Yeah, these bastids have dropped my PPD rate by 500 per client. Oh well, it's all for science. :D

I receive these nearly every day. I get anywhere between 4500-5000 PPD on my 8800GTs depending on OC.

Yeah, I am getting 3000 PPD on my 9600GSOs. However, on 787 and 353 pointers, I get around 3500 PPD. These 1888 units are definitely a bit more chewy. I should probably try and overclock these cards but they are extremely stable and working great since I installed them 24 hours ago.

You'll probably see a few hundred PPD on each card depending on the WU and how high you can go. That adds up fast if you have a lot of cards.

I've been getting them a little more frequently lately, which is a bit unfortunate. It drops my GTX260 down to about 7300-7400PPD from ~8000 with 353-point units and ~8200 with 787-pointers.

Welp, one of them failed at 40% with a "GUARDED_RUN" error. The other one is at 63% and still running.

Yeah... crap like this happens.

Sometimes, I get partial points for this. Sometimes, I don't and hours were wasted on a WU that went nowhere.
