With all the hype of the 8 and 3 series cards performance and configs etc allowing them to play with dx10 visuals at dx9 performance. Well I wanted to show that the 7 series cards can do that as well, but with dx9 visuals with dx 10 performance. Here are some screenshots to prove, that you don't need next gen hardware for last gen performance 
I played in a 32 person server on the Power Struggle map Mesa.
7950gt at 1280x960 with all in-game settings to high.
In the spawn room, 42 fps!
Outside the base, looking for a truck to drive, 16.5 fps!
Driving my truck to the prototype factory, 17 fps!
My truck landed in the water, so I had to run to the factory, still 17 fps!
In the vent above the prototype factory, 38 fps!!
and finally inside the prototype factory, where my demonstration ends, 17.7 fps!
